After attempting to order a birthday cake online, giving specific details in what I was looking for, and including sending pictures, I decided to stop in and clarify the specifics of my request for a Red Velvet cream cheese cake. The emailed responses were vague and not as clear as needed to be in order to make a decision as the responses seemed very short and did not explain what was an option or possible.

Now let me just say that over the years I have had several other desserts including cookies, pies and chocolate paws and had no issues with these items but I also had not been the one doing direct business with this establishment.

I went in and placed an order for 2 of their standard red velvet cakes with cream cheese frosting. Served the cake for my husband’s birthday only to find out that although the cake looked beautiful the cake was not as moist as I am used to with a Red Velvet, lacked a bit of flavor within the cake and most important there was NO cream cheese frosting! This was a whipped style frosting which did not compliment the cake and was NOT cream cheese!
