#1 Took a fork and knife cut into my fried chicken breast and it was BLOODY! Raw! I took it back to the restaurants showing them the repulsive Bloody Chicken they gave me. The girl working there just said to me oh that one must not have got done do you want another one? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! She didnt show any emotion at all that she cared! I said here's your food back...I got my money back for all the meals & food I ordered as Take Out . Not a single I'm sorry this happened! A decent person would have been super apologetic and offered additional food free or a refund... something! Common sense tells decent people to feel that way. You know if that would have happened I probably would not have even gone this far to post about it. But I tell everyone I now.
#2 I've driven past many times over the years and the worst I saw was when they had their Mandatory Sanitary Inspection. They had their cleanliness letter on the door facing the alley. "C" that's so repulsive and disgusting! What it is...is a cleanliness grading system given by the city's health department. It is mandatory that any place of business dealing with food have a certain standard of cleanliness and safety for the customers consuming food.
Copied words below A Letter "C" on a restaurant usually indicates that the restaurant has multiple food safety violations and is at risk of closure. So big means the facility did not meet minimum health standards and is required to correct the violations and be re-inspected to an “A” grade.
THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED! Nope people going in eating dirty contaminated food like it's no big deal. ZERO respect for their poor customers who don't know what the letter grade on their door means! Making money is more important then customers health obviously. That's just evil. Smile in your face then give you food that could make you very I'll or kill you and you probably are sitting with dirty bugs too. Eating on dirty dishes. Look it up... seriously. Never have I felt so bad for others being deceived about a big piece of paper with a letter C on it!
I have PROOF too! I have pictures of the bloody raw chicken. I also have picture of people eating inside with a big fat C from the health department right on the glass door. It's from some years ago. But when I come across them as a memory as.. on this day... apps. I'll be sure to come back and post them! Then I'll have exact dates and...
Read moreI went there two times. The first time was for their delicious shakes. A young lady made the shakes, gave us samples and explained to the cashier, in Spanish, what we ordered. The next time I came in with more people for this delicious Tequila and almond shakes.
This time no one spoke English. I used Google translate and pointed at the signs of the product I was ordering. The fellow didn't appear to understand my horrible Spanish accent, or the words written on my screen, or the signs in the shop. He made one shake and when I ordered another he whispered under his breath and walked away for about ten minutes. Not knowing why he went to the back room, I took the completed shake and went to pay for it.
I stood at the counter, shake and card in hand and they kept serving others. Finally the young lady that spoke English came out and asked what we needed. I paid for the shake and left. The shake drinker loved it. I won't go back but if you speak Spanish or are familiar with this kind of place I recommend it. There are only like 5 menu items that have a price. The shakes are VERY good but the service i recieved doesn't follow the same social/cultural rules as they do at other places. Or they didn't want to serve me. Either way I'll miss those...
Read moreOur go-to place for tacos. We usually get a variety and typically order 20 to 40 tacos whenever we place an order in. The tacos taste amazing and they are pretty quick on completing their orders. They also have a good variety of salsas to choose from. Our favorite is the guac sauce. A slightly creamy guac flavor with a nice spicy kick. I have noticed that they have 'watered' down this sauce throughout the years by adding more cream than actual guac. You can tell because the darker green color has changed and the taste of cream is stronger and more predominant. Bummer to see corners being cut, but the food is still great.
The hardest part is getting someone to pick up the phone and actually put our order in. Half the times that we call, the phone just continues to ring and no one picks up. I am guessing they are swamped with orders so they just let the phone ring but I've noticed this happens about half of the time that we've called. This is our biggest deterent in ordering from Chicken Palace because the service can be hit or miss. On multiple occasions, we would call and no one would answer so we would just have to settle for alternative...
