Mattress Firm Miller Parkway — Hotel in West Milwaukee

I came here absolutely needing to buy a mattress and really not in the mood to actually shop for one. There was only an hour before the store was closing on a Friday night. James was the sleep expert that helped me.

I really thought I would just look at one or two basic mattresses, pick one, and be on my way. However, James took the time to assess my needs and my situation. Then put my information into their computer program, which suggested a few mattresses. We proceeded to look at several different options with James giving his input and suggestions about each.

After about an hour I ended up finding the perfect mattress setup for my needs. Then we had to figure out my contract and how I was going to pay. Ended up getting great, easy financing. I didn't get out of there until 45 minutes after the store closed. James never once was pushy or worried about the time. He just focused on helping me find what I needed and didn't stop until the job was done.

Although I felt like this was going to be a dreadful, annoying experience - this was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I don't think I've ever had so much fun and laughter and just pure enjoyment during a shopping experience with a sales associate. Mattress Firm, HOLD ONTO JAMES! HE IS ONE OF A KIND. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. JUST FANTASTIC!!!

Lastly, I spent much more than I originally budgeted for this purchase, but the financing options were simple and painless. So it made the decision to spend a bit more easy. Me and my best friend came in to the MattressFirm the second it opened because we were both on a time crunch and needed a mattress last second due to a recent move, we were quickly greeted by a friendly man with glasses and a nice beard, had a whole suit and tie and everything, he looked super well put together and admittedly kind of a handsome fella. He said he was the manager of the store. When I tell you this man is like CEO Corporate level professional, I mean it. His professionalism, friendliness and courtesy is better than my own boss! He is an amazing salesman.

He asked me questions like what size, comfort level and price range I was looking for.

I had mentioned there was a mattress I was looking for in particular the night prior that had a Veteran's Day Sale, but we barely missed it, without that deal the bed would've been 1,000$+ , but through his generosity and negotiation, he managed to snag me the deal and land me at 350$ for the mattress with the deal we almost missed out on.

He also made sure I was comfortable with sleeping on the bed because I was scared of germs and things along that nature and offered a thin liner to make sure I was safe and comfortable.

That man is every corporations dream, cheers to this amazing manager for being an awesome and generous salesman. Says he's been doing this for 7 years, you can tell he is confident and knowledgeable about what he does, he even told me that firm mattresses are not as good for your back, insane advice that kind of all makes sense. I bought a Tulo Mattress from these guys. The price was good and the customer service was excellent (hence the three stars), but the mattress was defective out of the box. They are making me go through so many hoops to deal with this it is ridiculous. They told me that Tulo is great at customer service but they passed the buck to Mattress Firm. I submitted photos of the issue (right out of the box) but they are making me submit all these specific photos with their specific measuring tools, I've already wasted so much time on this. Just buy your Mattress from Amazon.

Update: The sales reps told me that Tulo was not a subsidiary of Mattress Firm but all other sources say they are. I don't like being lied to. After being forced to do a ton of busywork to make a warranty claim, the warranty department denied the claim and said the mattress was defective and needed to be replaced at the showroom. The showroom finally agreed to replace it after this, two weeks and a couple of hours of my time later. Mattress Firm is holding up the show, I stand by my statement to buy from another source. Also, measure your mattress, get what you pay for. This company has lost my confidence as a sales channel as well as a manufacturer.

Update 2: The replacement is also not the advertised 10 inches. If they cut corners and falsely advertise this basic fact, where else are they...
