Ordered for delivery and included instructions to buzz in at the security door and leave the food at my door. I included the unit number as well in the address and instructions so there would be no confusion. When I was notified the food had been delivered, I look for it but could not find it. I called the store and was told it hadn’t been delivered and it was just a glitch in the app. They said that it shouldn’t be more than 5 or 10 min as the driver was in my area. I called back 10 min later to check in when I had heard nothing and a quite rude lady answered. I was told again that it must be a glitch and it would likely be 5-10 min although she was aware that I had already called 10 min prior. Since this place is like a tenth of a mile from my place I was like nah. I asked for the drivers number but was told that they couldn’t provide it. I asked if there was a way they could contact the driver. She replied “I suppose we could do something like that” followed by literal silence. I finally said “I can wait while you do that” before she put me on hold. After this the manager picked up and and was very polite despite not being able to tell me anything new. Finally the woman came back and said the driver said he dropped it off 20 min ago. The manager said he would put in a new order and have it delivered. Since I finally had confirmation that in fact my food had been delivered somewhere, I searched the entryways until I finally found it outside. Called them back to cancel the duplicate order. All in all I get that food service is busy but if the entire thing had turned out the same with the only difference being the people I talked to treating me respectfully I wouldn’t have been upset or even writing this. Read moreWow. Terrible. So we ordered at 5:20 pm to a hot spot at a park. We have 3 kids 4 and under so when the estimated delivery was 6:00 pm we thought, “perfect timing.” The park is maybe 10 minutes from the store, btw. At 6:15 we hadn’t heard from them so we called, and we’re told “it’s in the store and about to be delivered.” At 6:40 pm our kids are hungry and crying and it’s getting dark, still nothing from Dominos, so we start getting ready to leave and call them. “It’s almost there.” We’re told. I have my wife start walking the kids home and wait another 15 minutes, call them again and ask if they could change the location of the deliver to our house, which is a few blocks away. They finally agree after talking to a manager. It’s 7pm at this point. So I run home and we are waiting, finally put our toddlers and infant to bed, and it’s 8:15 and we still haven’t heard. I call to cancel the order and they said, “Oh it looks like we cancelled it a while ago.” And never told us. They didn’t offer to do anything else, just refund the money. Honestly I never write reviews, but this service was so bad I felt like I had no choice. I really feel for the service industry right now - people don’t get paid enough (we tip over 20% every time to try and help) and it’s tough out there. But this felt different. Update April 2022: it has been 6 months since this poor experience and disrepct from Domino's. I still have not ordered from them since and have been enjoying pizza from many of the locally owned pizza shops. Many of these shops are the same price with far and away better quality food than Domino's.
I was a satisfied customer of this Domino's for a while until one of their drivers smooshed my pizza and it got stuck to the top of box. I called and ask for a refund and they said they would only do it via gift card. Fine.
My order was $30 with tip included and they sent me a $10 gift card as a refund. The pizza alone was $19 something.
