JC King's Tortas | Morgandale — Restaurant in Milwaukee

The wife and I have been coming to this place for years way back even before our son was born typically we get their tortas de milanesa de pollo, guacamole, tacos de asada and to wash it all down una agua de piña and mango their Torta’s are massive now they do have 2 sizes of course we go for the big boys because we did big back season before it was cool the flavor on there milanesa is delicious we normally omit the chipotle or jalapeño just a preference we have we like to add their green salsa that sends this torta to the moon now the green salsa is not spicy and the wife and I love spicy come on now we’re Mexicans if it ain’t spicy I don’t like it just kidding but we love our spice their tacos de asada I would say are decent they do need a little more kick in the seasoning department there aguas are always fresh and delicious you have to get there large size and lastly the guacamole and chips is down far the best guacamole we’ve ever had at any...

The food took extremely long to get to our table. The "tortas" were way over priced at $11.00 for a large and under portioned. The quesadilla was one taco sized flour tortilla folded over melted cheese, no sides of any kind. The chorizo taco was sprinkled ( literally ) with chorizo and topped with a sprinkling again of cilantro and onions for $1.60!!! Way overpriced. The " smoothies " again were over priced at $5.00 for a 32oz and $4.00 for a 16oz. They did not offer to bag left overs and the check was not brought to the table and after 15 minutes of waiting I had to ask for it only to be told to pay at the counter. I do not recommend this locale at all, specially when there are so many other places with Mexican fare of higher quality and better prices I will NEVER be back and will advise everyone I know to not go there if they are looking for...

Today Sunday-03-2021 I place my order over the phone the person who was taken my order was very rude , and she told me my order will be ready in 30 minutes , usually for that same order takes 15min was and appetizer... well we stop at the restaurant 30 min leter and the server told my husband , we still need 5 more minutes., I was waiting in the car with my baby ., we try to pick up the order 10min later , and she told him again ... we don't even stared the order sorry!! Of course we have no time to wait other 30 minutes . We just loose 40 min of our time for nothing. Very bad customer service...very bad experience, very bad...
