It is rare that I rate a business 1 star however this particular McDonald's has earned it. I have attempted to purchase food from this McDonalds many times as it is the closest fast food to where I work. Every time I attempt to place an order no one responds to the speaker. I waited about three mins at the speaker occasionally asking to be served. There was at this point no one in the other lane. There were three cars in front of me in line so I figured prehaps I could order at the window or at least figure out what is going on. It took about ten mins for them to go through the first one. There was no one manning the payment window while I was waiting in front of it for about five minutes. By this point the other two have bailed and left the line. The individual order that was made wasn't a large bag so I am unsure why this took so long or why they didnt st least have the individual pull up to the second pick up window. By now a few cars have pulled in behind me. I pull up to the pick up window and waited about another ten mins. The crew noticed me as the we filling a drink order and the other making a shake but no one talked to me or even acknowledged me. Eventually someone came to the window opened it and then just stared at me until I spoke I told them that I wanted to place an order but no one was taking it. I asked if I could place the order there. She told me no I would have to go back around. I asked if if I had to choose one of the two lanes in particular. She just said no just go around again. By this time lionhead backed up past the speakers to place the order I waited a another 5 minutes and when not a single car had moved the car in front of me asked me to back out so that they can leave from the order queue. Realizing this was beyond futile I went over to the Taco Bell next door. Though not the speediest service North the most Pleasant talk about was able to serve me any sufficiently fast and professional manner. After I was able to received my Taco Bell order I noticed that the McDonald line had finally started to move. I felt experimental and really wanted to try the new bacon cheese fries so I figured why the hell not give it another try. I went back to the order Lane and after waiting a moment with no response and asking to be served a few times someone Kwik totally responded what do you want my place my order. Though still slow the line was moving and I did eventually receive an order of Cold stale cheesy bacon fries. No apologies no thank you or your welcomes. Read moreI would have given this location a better rating as in the past the staff at night was nice. However at 1:20am on 6/2/18 I pulled into the first of 2 drive through lanes. The car I front of me took at least 3 mins or more before his order was taken. While I was waiting for the car in front of me to order a car pulled into lane 2. Order taken before me. I was going to chall that up to picking the wrong lane. However 3 more people placed orders before me. A car that had pulled behind me saw the same 3 cars go before me, he backed out and went to lane 2. I had a spot to leave the drive through without placing the order. Pulled back around and the car that had backed up went back to lane 1 because then he heard the attendant. He was complaining about how he too saw cars go before him I am in lane 2 and the attendant came on I told her what I wanted but then was trying to voice my complaint about the service. I got a response along the lines of "there are 2 of us and we each have a lane I can't control her." This was not done in a tone that evoked she cared about my complaint but that she was trying to pass the buck on the responsibility of the issue. I said forget it, I don't want my order anymore. The attendant then said that's good and fine. Then as if there were a way to hang up the phone or slam a door in a face I feel she would have. I canceled my order because I felt I don't want someone pissed off handing my food and spitting in it. I don't care that my order was just a drink. I looked up the phone number and called it. Same attendant picked up, confirmed that this was the correct location I was calling and hung up. I talked briefly to the car next to me who was also c ok complaining and he said "Yup I heard and she was wrong." So believe me this complaint on this site is not the only one going out. Read more8:07 a.m. waited in line for 10+ minutes in the Drive-Thru only to be told that the latte machine is being cleaned and it will be a 10 minute wait for hashbrowns. Wait WHAT?!?! Who cleans a coffee machine at 8 a.m. on a Thursday, the busiest time for morning coffee?!?! Ignorant individuals, that's who. Why would you not have done this at 6 a.m. when you don't have a line wrapped around the corner? Brilliant! I have come to this location plenty of times on my way to work in the morning and 100% of the time, rudest customer service I have ever encountered. Each and every time I have gone here, I have been (finally) greeted with most attitude possible, like how dare I interrupt their day by making them actually GASP WORK!!! That's after waiting a good 5 minutes each time in the drive thru with no greeting or request to take my order, rather hearing laughing in the background and when I say hello, I'm told to "hang on a minute". I've purposely tried to provoke smiles out of the employees because I get death looks, looks of pure boredom or just annoyance of my existence. I'm sure this hint will go unnoticed by McD's and this location's employees, but if you hate your job so much, go somewhere else. You have NO ONE else to blame but yourself for being there and your own life choices. If you cannot or will not conduct your CUSTOMER SERVICE job in an appropriate manner, leave. But you expect to be paid $15/hr for what? Doing nothing but acting like a self-centered brat and getting every order that you eventually take wrong?
