Read moreSunday April 16th 2023. I purchased an order via the mobile app @ 10:40am. I was expecting the lunch menu but the breakfast menu was still up so I ordered breakfast. I was in the drive thru line at 10:47 & the manager told me that they couldn’t complete my order because it was too close to lunch.(Why the mobile app allows breakfast purchases is a mystery to me?) I was disappointed but not angry until I realized they already charged me $9.62 for the order I never received. I went inside to get a refund & was met with hostility & rudeness. They refused to refund me & told me I have to do the work to get my money back! I’m a 100% rated disabled Veteran thats served in Iraq. Im on a fixed income & this was left with zero money & zero food. I have bad mental issues & do my best to not lose my temper but their attitudes & the fact they couldn’t even offer me a coffee or anything for my inconvenience. I did got into a verbal sparring match with a customer that’s wanted to stick his nose in my business too. Im not proud of that! Ive worked very hard over the last 10 years to overcome this stuff. How embarrassing! This wouldn’t have happened if the management would’ve had some basic interpersonal communication skills & employ good customer service. Their windows are plastered sayings now hiring , but when young teens apply they are left waiting for months on end for a chance for an interview . Then when my friend went in for her video training ,there was another young boy there . My friend went at her correct time of Saturday, the 5th from 8-11. The manager Gene decided to yell at her and ridicule her for “Not knowing her schedule” despite her being there at the correct time , they then decided to let the boy who wasn’t on the “schedule “ take my friends time , causing my friend to walk out . My sister is trying to work at this establishment and Gene asked her, “Are you slow?” Now that’s just incredibly disgusting and disrespectful. I would like to also state that Gene’a daughter Chris works at McDonald’s as well, and has been seen urinating on herself, as well as, having bowel movements on herself just to leave work early. How about we create an accepting and helpful experience for new workers everywhere; not ridicule and disrespect new workers. - P.S.
