McDonald's — Restaurant in Milwaukee

So it was 1am and I was so ready to eat and go to sleep. I was tempted to drive half way across town to get take out from a different food place until I noticed that there was only 1 car in line at McDonald's. Great, I thought, this should be really quick and convenient but nope... for some unknown reason the line took forever!!!! On top of that my fries were a soggy and my entire meal was cold!!

I was hoping the delay was because they ran out of fries, meaning the fries would be fresh out of the fryer and ULTRA DELICIOUS. Ya'll know what I'm talking about! There is something about those McDonald's fries when you get them right out of the basket..the crunchy external texture with soft interior, the super yummy dusting of salt that always seems just right... but, no such luck. After sitting in the drive-thru for at least 10 minutes just to receive cold food really broke my ❤.

Please note that I have worked in public service my entire life and unless there is a SERIOUS issue I never complain to the employees...IMO it was obvious something was wrong as the entire staff seemed very busy and almost overwhelmed. I only saw 2 people so maybe they were understaffed.

The employee working the window was attentive, friendly and double checked that she had the correct order before...

Pretty much every mcdonalds in the Milwaukee area has the same issues. Rude/incompetent employees. They over complicate the easiest tasks. Tried doing a mobile order to reduce time and having to deal with the employees. Arrived at this location and the doors were locked. The dive thru had about 4-5 cars. So with my order already being "ready" it was frustrating having to wait in the line. After 15 min we got to the first window. She said that there was no record of my order and I had to go to the last window where my order should be ready. 10 minutes later I got to the window. The manager was the one we spoke to and he said our order was no where to be found and to get it we would have to go back and re order at the first window. By the time the drive thru lane was 3 blocks down North Ave. We decided to call it. Problem was with the mobile app you have to pay on the phone and not at the location. So about $20 was gone with no food to show for it. Called later and tried to get a refund but since "they had no record of the order" no luck for us. Money is not the issue here and this is my first ever time writing a review. Expectations were not high but for something so simple as working at mcdonalds they are completely useless. Save your...

I came through the drive thru at 9pm. I ordered a McCrispy meal a Quartepounder meal and a double fish meal. After I paid the cashier asked me to pull forward immediately and the car behind me he hands them my drinks. The driver hands them back. Two other cars behind me were given their food and then my food was finally brought out. My fries were not hot and or fresh. I drove back around and when I told the teller she responded " well dis you ask for fresh fries" I said no but I did say light sodium, but I had to wait so my food should all be hot and fresh. She then tells me to pull foward, the young lady at the window goes " you have to give us the other fries" which I was doing anyway- however that is not McDonalds policy, food should not be handed back to the employes once it leaves, and to add insult to it all they gave me fries again that were not fresh fries again and weren't low sodium. The young man brought me out the same trey of drinks that he gave to the driver behind me he didn't throw them out and make fresh drinks. Now I called the restaurant and no one answers. How do I report them and find the corporate...
