Let me first start off by saying that I think it’s amazing how Miss Molly’s Cafe is “lady owned and locally grown.” I think that is so refreshing and fundamental. I was super excited to try out this cafe, I have been meaning to go since it first opened. My friend and I went on a Saturday so that we could try their cinnamon rolls, sticky buns and macarons. I was especially excited to try them after seeing how amazing they looked in pictures posted on the Miss Molly’s instagram. The website says that they are only available on the weekends, so we made sure to stop in then. I was quickly disappointed to find out that they did not have any of them! It is truly saddening when a restaurant is not consistent with their products. I specifically came in for those items, because the menu online said that they would be available. Instead, I ordered a lox bagel, raspberry cupcake and matcha latte. Everything was okay, nothing special or worth going out of your way to get. In my opinion, I think that the menu was too over priced for the amount and quality of food. I realize everything is locally sourced, and that can be expensive. But keeping that in mind, it was still too overpriced. On the way out I got an iced chai latte and chocolate praline cupcake for later. The chai latte tasted so weird, not like any I have ever had, and I drink chai lattes at least once a week. It is my drink of choice. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate praline cupcake, super tasty. And it is vegan, which earns bonus points in my book. However, my whole experience was soured by how poorly I was treated by the manager. She took my order and was so rude and short with me, I felt unwelcome to be in the restaurant. I don’t think it’s very professional to have a manager that is so ill-mannered and impolite. I really wanted to like Miss Molly’s more than I did, but I had such an overall distasteful experience that I don’t think I will be returning. Perhaps I just came on the wrong day, and not everyday is as subpar and substandard as I experienced. I truly wish this restaurant the best of luck in its future endeavors, I can see a lot of...
Read moreThis place has been amazing since opening, I am happy that finally, a restaurant has succeeded in this space, there have been many restaurants here that never took off, but Miss Molly's, through quality food, great atmosphere, and outstanding customer service has become a staple in the community.
The food is awesome, it's locally sourced, and its quality. The prices reflect that, but I'm happy to pay an extra dollar or two to know I'm getting locally grown/produced ingredients. The vibe when you walk into Miss Molly's is cozy and relaxed. There's a fireplace that runs, and before COVID-19, it was a treat to sit at the tables and dine, or sit at the furniture around the fireplace. The customer service and staff is nothing short of fantastic. They are some of the kindest and welcoming people I have ever met, to everyone who walks through the door. They make wonderful recommendations if you don't know what exactly to get.
They make amazing cakes and bakery products as well. I had my wedding cake (and subsequent cupcakes after our plans changed) done through Miss Molly's, and the process was smooth, hassle-free, and Miss Molly's was incredibly flexible when we had to change our order multiple times. Our guests LOVED the cupcakes that we ended up ordering, and I would recommend them to do your bakery for any occasion.
Lately, Miss Molly's started doing a variety of things in the face of COVID, like dinner meal-kits, indoor / outdoor markets, and expanding their take-out. They've done well to overcome adversity and never sacrifice quality.
I look forward to Miss Molly's staying a staple of the community for...
Read moreThe atmosphere was beautiful. But the food was very bland. I ordered the grandpa eddies special with extra bacon and cheese. The cheese was like a slice of craft singles microwaved onto it, and the eggs tasted very underwhelming. The bacon was not crispy, the toast was limp, the shortbread we ordered was extremely stale and hard, i banged it against the table and it did not falter (i would upload the video but this only allows photos). The chicken biscuits and gravy we ordered was not much better. The biscuits were stale, and the gravy lacked flavor. The iced and hot lattes we ordered were fruity/citrus flavored which was odd and caught us off gaurd. They were out of just about a lot of their bakery goods which sucks since that was what attracted us to go here. And the only reason the service sucked was due to the lack of communication. Had i known that their menu was nearly out of everything we would have came another time. The cashier did not let us know that anything was out of stock until we were ready to order and started to order. We walked in hungry with empty stomachs and left hungry with empty stomachs, (literally went to another place to eat) we will not be back here,...
