Arby's — Restaurant in Milwaukie

The worst experience ever!!!! Today my husband and I went in to have lunch. In 40 years of ordering turnovers I have never had one look as flat, Rick hard and raw as today’s. Knowing that croissant is supposed to be light, airy and poofy. This one was seriously bad. I took it to the counter, and the lady tried to convince me that that’s how they always are, and that her oven cook them that way. However, eating here for so many years often on I have never seen this. I asked for a new one she refused so I told her just give me my money back. She told me that I needed to face reality and that I have never eaten one the way that I remember. I’ve never been talked down in this manner due before by somebody that works at fast food. This was not the only problem sitting down in the dining room. We had to clean our own table and had to be very cautious of where we stepped. This place was filthy. You could see all kinds of filth, grease, and salt everywhere in the back where the fried food is kept. Have never seen it so dirty. When we got our food, not only did they make the incorrect food that my husband ordered, but then we opened up our sandwiches to find three times as much meat. We both took a bite and found ourselves instantly nauseous. The meat was ice cold and had a very nasty old flavor. My husband later went to work and got sick. I only took one bite of my sandwich and knew that it was bad so I did not eat it thank goodness, but it was surely enough to make me nauseous just by the smell of it. as this was not enough, when my husband went to get his Coke at the fountain machine, it tasted like root beer. I myself I drink root beer and I could not figure out what it tasted like. He also went to have Coke zero and it was out. I don’t know why this Location struggle so much when the head manager is not there. We have decided as of today we no longer will be patrons and we cannot believe that $30 went down the drain literally. All except for the $2.50 that the lady gave back to me for the raw uncooked And cold turnover. We would have just asked for a money back, however I didn’t honestly want to deal with her again she seemed like it was she was having a bad day or she was just gonna be a mega cow about it and everything we said was gonna be wrong. 2nd time in a month I've stopped to get a ruben sandwich. They are always delicious! As was today's. However, the 1st time I went I was in line for 20 minutes and then was informed they were out of all French fries and and then mazarella sticks(2 of only 3 side options). Today I literally sat in the drive-thru for 50 minutes(not kidding) When I got my food it was wrong and was told "well the order you got was cheaper". I informed them I wanted my full order and had already waited 45 minutes-I was not rude or loud but i wanted the 2nd sandwich in my order. The young man at the window said he was doing the best he could and had to get his "boss". Boss came and went over my order and a sandwich was missing. He said "well I guess I'll go make you one". Then a woman came to the window and tried to hand me someone else's milkshake....I informed her it was not mine and they were trying to track down the test of my order. Not one apology for the long wait then seemed be put out that they actually had to make the sandwich i ordered. If they are short handed I get it, but they could be nice about it. I waited because I love the ruben and was honestly was stuck in line. But I will not...

Today was a bad one though (July 25th)

I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and they guy didn't respond for a few minutes. I had to say hello and ask if anyone was there. He sounded tired and was very quiet. He got my order wrong, but i corrected him. He didn't verify what i ordered. It really just seemed like he was tired and halfheartedly doing his job. After ordering and pulling up to the window. I paid, waited, got my change, and got my drink. For the food, I ended up waiting over 16 minutes for the salad alone. By the time I was done it took about 28 minutes. There was a line behind me as i left. The food itself was bad. I got flat soda, weird tasting salad, rock hard chicken, and green tinged curly fries. I didn't eat the fries or the chicken, and was hardly able to finish half the salad. Normally, this never happens. Today though, was my first experience in a while where I had a bad experience.
