Excellent food and service! We ordered torta de pollo (chicken sandwich) and veggie burrito, both were delicious. Javier, the boss (el patron), took the time to chat with us. He told us they have a variety of original house salsas with different degrees of heat to choose from, we tried 2 and they were both very tasty. Everything had a true Mexican flavor! Very clean, it was full of Mexican and Latinamerican customers on a Sunday afternoon. It is a small restaurant inside a supermaket with a great team and genuine Mexican food. They have special discounts every weekday. I can’t wait to come back!

This place has been a lot of different things over the years so I hope they are here to stay! I’ve tried everything from breakfast burritos to tacos to tamales and everything is made fresh to order and is a healthy serving size. Salsas are fresh and perfectly seasoned. I’ve also used them for catering and they were fantastic to work with and the food was a hit. Service is always with a smile! They have a few high tops you can eat at but keep in mind the other half of the place is a grocery store.

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood! We have been waiting years for a place like this to move into this corner of the neighborhood. We ordered enchiladas and a chimichanga, which most quick taco shops don’t carry. Both were hot and delish. I appreciate that the green sauce is actually spicy and not just “Minnesota Spice.” Also the black beans are clearly made with real whole beans in the best kind of way. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

First time trying & we will most definitely be returning!!

Ordered takeout last night and the whole experience was great. They use a customizable online ordering system (clover) so you can see everything that’s included with what you’re getting (the one exception being, I didn’t know my torta included french fries, so I ordered a side. not a big deal).

The restaurant is inside a grocery store, so there is not much for seating/atmosphere but it’s a fantastic place for takeout and groceries. And my partner said the owner was extremely kind and accommodating! We accidentally forgot to enter any meat for our burrito, and he remade it for us no problem.

Portion sizes are quite large, a whole 6 oz guac & chips is $6, a big ol piece of tres leches (i’m talking roughly 5”x5”) is $6.. plus there’s different deals on different days of the week.

My only feedback/notes for next time: request to have torta & burrito cut in half, and salt on the tortilla chips. 😁

Thank you to the owner (i believe it’s Javier) 🙏 You’re doing...

I would recommend this locale if you like take-out mexican food. Its dinning area is small.

I went on a sat night to get some quick food. The resturaunt is located in a not-so-organized convenience store. There was a small section with tables to sit. Chef was very hospitable and helped me with the menu. Overall, a good experience with great food and good value.

Good:

Food was excellent - one of the better Mexican joints in the area. I'll be back for more! Price - the items I got were a really good value Staff - the chef ( I'm assuming this was the owner) was very friendly and welcoming.

Not so good:

Wait - took a bit of time to get my food, but it was made to order, so it was fresh. The food was worth the wait. I would recommend calling in your order before you arrive. Atmosphere - the convenience store where its located was in a bit of disarray.

Verdict Good food and value, nice staff, ill be back.

Try this place out if you are in the mood for good Mexican takeout or burgers and are looking for...

I love this place, I feel like it's the TV show Bobs Burgers, but in real life 😆 The food is unique and has a lot of character, like a home-cooked meal. I always feel welcomed here and comfortable, there is a very relaxing and chill vibe which permeates this restaurant. Great place to stop for a burrito.

They used to do a tofu burrito that I quite liked, but they had to phase it out due to lack of demand. It's too bad IMO. So I think right now the vegetarian burrito is just beans, rice, and veggies. It's still good tho. The spicy salsa hits.

I was collecting some empty Jarritos bottles for a project and the owner was even willing to make a deal where he collected bottles for a couple weeks and I paid him for them when I picked them up. He's a great guy, fun to talk to and I can tell that he has...
