Whether you need to avoid gluten or not, this bakery is AMAZING. But if you are gluten free or celiac and you’re looking for a place where you can finally feel “normal”, this place is your new best friend! The baguettes and bread are absolutely out of this world! They are everything you want from a European style bread! Light and fluffy with a delicious crunchy crust. Toasted or fresh out of the oven, I still have to remind myself that it’s gluten free. We’ve done everything with this bread, from using a baguette to make “pizza bread” to making the most amazing French toast. They have a wide variety of additional treats and desserts too. Food memories are powerfully things. I swear when I first tasted one of their current scones, I almost cried! Their cinnamon rolls will bring you right back to your childhood. And the pastries are amazing, no matter what the flavor of the day is. I’ve been following them since they were a little front porch bakery, and there’s a reason why they have such a following. This is one bakery you don’t want to miss out on!

Today I went into this Bakery in Minneapolis. I was very amazed at the options for gluten free. They have many Breads, many Cookies, and other options like Brownies, Muffins, Danishes and more!!! The Bakery had samples on top of the case to try This was my first time trying a gluten free Brownie. It was AMAZING!!! I found out the owners raise chickens so even the ingredients are cage free and fresh!!! Come try out this Bakery!! Hours are listed in pictures below!! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I was surprised to see a young lady I knew years ago working in this bakery. I went to this bakery to check it out with her aunt. She is amazing young lady! It was busy in this Bakery, so due to privacy I chose not to take pictures from inside of the Bakery. But I do have some pictures of items from the Bakery!

How do they do it?? As a symptomatic celiac for the last 17+ years, I have PINED for crusty bread and flaky pastries. GF bakery after GF bakery I have tried to find anything remotely like the glutenous baked goods I remember from before my diagnosis. Nothing compares to Atuvava, which I finally tried after a couple of failed attempts due to lack of patience with long lines. They are worth the hype!! We had an apple turnover, a danish, and baguette and I melted with each bite. Forget mediocre dense GF bread from anywhere else and make your way to Atuvava. We are adding their bread to our regular grocery rotation and I will forever be grateful the baker/owner spent the time it took to figure out how to make delicious GF baked goods. Prices were very reasonable as well, so this is an accessible treat! Thank you!

This is, dare I say, the BEST gluten free bakery in Minnesota. Reasonably priced, especially for gluten free. The baguettes are EVERYTHING - there's a reason they put a purchase limit on them! Their rustic loaf is my go to for "regular bread". It's reminiscent of the bakery bread I'd get as a kid visiting my grandmother. Their bread is not loaded with preservatives so it will not stay fresh for whatever outrageous amount of time store bought bread is good for. Lucky for everyone, their bread is so good it'll be eaten before it goes stale. I usually get two baguettes because I'll eat one in the car on the way home. Love the danishes. I'm not personally a muffin or scone person but they always have them available. I do love their buns. They have a good variety of items to choose from in their case. Staff is always kind...
