The staff and atmosphere was wonderful the people there were all very kind and welcoming. The only issue I really had was the food. I spent about 37$ on the Chicken Pesto crepe, the Apple crepe, the ramune float, and the strawberry matcha latte. The taste of the ramune float wasn’t that great and the ice cream and beverage itself blended in an unpleasant way. As for the strawberry matcha, it was comparable to watered down pepto bismal, yet oddly enough maintained a thick consistency which I assume isn’t normal. The chicken pasta crepe had an overwhelming amount of pesto in it and very bland unseasoned chicken as well as a sprinkle of soggy lettuce. This was most disappointing due to how delicious it sounded. I believe I would’ve had a more enjoyable time with a quesadilla from Taco Bell. The best thing in the purchase was probably the apple crepe. Though even that was mediocre at best and you can easily find better or even make one yourself that’s much better. Overall the 4 items for 37$ was not worth it at all. But I’d still say go for the experience, just be weary which...
Read moreWe went on a Saturday, got there around 11:30, waited 20 minutes in line, was told 30 minutes for the souffle pancakes but ended up waiting over an hour to finally get our pancakes. The ramen place next to it is owned buy the same person and I kept seeing orders get taken over there instead so it looks like they probably prioritized the people over there vs the one who is actually in the dessert shop. There was only one person doing all the cooking. The cashier helped make drinks whenever he could. They either need to hire more people or just combine the whole shop into one big one instead of seperate areas.
Now for the pancakes itself...they were okay. Got the la la mango one and the pancakes tasted more eggy but the mango syrup served with it drowns it out. The pancakes also weren't cooked throughly. The middle was still very runny.
I was looking forward to these pancakes but they're not worth the hour wait. A man and his little son actually went for a refund since they were also waiting an hour.
The shop is very small. Overcrowded when there's more than 15...
Read moreI really liked this spot! They are relatively new, and I thought that they are a pretty good addition to the food scene along Nicolette! The employees there were really friendly, and also very helpful. We had a lot of fun talking with them! The indoor space is sort of small, with not much seating available. If you order food here, you might want to plan to get it to go! However, the indoor decorations are really cute, and if you can find a seat it seems like an enjoyable place to have a meal. The food was pretty good as well! You can see the employees making it, which is a really cool experience. I really enjoyed their savory crepes, and we also each got a sweet one for dessert - They were all good. I do not know how they are served if you are dining in, but ours were served rolled in a cup - Which looked really cool, but when it came to eating it we had to go home and get our own plates, or else it would have been pretty messy.
Overall, I really dig this spot, and we will probably go back at some point! If you are around Nicolette pretty often, I would...
