Way below par. Only had one waiter on and he was good for the level of customers that were eating however it was impossible for him to ring up to go orders, make sure everyone had water, silverware, napkins ect. All the while there were three other female employees that were only running food and occasionally bussing. Front of the house operations were horrible. I had to get up two times to get what I wanted and ordered. Now for the food. It was alright, I ordered everything with no spice because my girlfriend doesn't handle spicy food very well and everything was still very spicy, even for me, I like spicy food but I don't like it if it just creates pain instead of flavor. My biggest issue with the food however was when I got the papaya salad. I love sum tum so I had to try it here however there were crab shells in the salad, little pieces that were hard to pick out before eating and I did miss one and it broke my filling. Not happy. The guy that was waiting on everyone was busy and the only time it seemed as if anyone else was in any form of hurrying was when I was paying with cash and some random girl came and got it and put the tip in a tip jar to, most likely, split the tips evenly. I'm glad I witnessed this because I had suspicion that that's what was going to happen so I only left a $3 cash tip and when I walking out of the door I handed the guy that was busting his butt off an extra $20 and told him to Pocket it and not to share it with anyone and he was very greatful for it. My search for the best Thai restaurant will continue. Rip...

The food was okay. I ordered the combo fried rice and the shrimp spicy rice noodles. The problem was the bill. My total for food and drinks was $38.70 and with 8.1% tax (I think that's what Minneapolis tax is) it should have been $41.84. Well, I noticed they charged 20% gratuity which was an additional $8.50. Also, I noticed there was another charge for $2.02 that stated "non taxed", then there was another charge that stated "charge total" which was a fee for using your credit card. When I asked the server why there were those extra charges she said that "gratitude is automatically charged because of COVID and you get taxed on the gratitude charge because the owner does not give the servers that "gratitude" charge to them as tips, that gratitude is for the restaurant. Well on top of all of that, we were asked and expected to still leave what is considered a "tip" that will then go to the server and you will not be taxed for. They suggested the tip amount at the bottom of the receipt based of the grand total after all those extra charges. This was a bad service in my opinion and seems like scam to charge all those additional amounts and still get taxed. Seems fishy and illegal. I hope this gets to the right authorities and gets revised. I never have a problem paying for a service and specially when it comes to tips, but when I see stuff like on my bill, it...

I must say I was impressed. I ordered jalapeno cream cheese puffs, red curry with mock duck, and crab fried rice. I think the cream cheese puffs are made by hand. I say this because I could taste jalapeno on the dough separate of the cream cheese. They were fried perfectly golden brown, like dead on, and the included sweet orange sauce had a spicy note to it that was pleasing. Not overwhelming, but nicely present in the background.

The red curry I ordered spicy, and it had plenty of mock duck and vegetable. It was delicious. The curry was balanced and deep in flavor, with a delicate note from the coconut played in the background. The rice was aromatic and was cooked excellently. It really pulled in the curry.

The crab fried rice was flavorful. I think they use canned crab, because I got a few chunks of crunchy in there, but that speaks more to the current state of the hospitality industry than the skill of the chef. Whoever made the fried rice really excelled. It wasn't swimming in oil, and the egg was puffy and crispy.

All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal. While I wish that they had cranberry cream cheese puffs, that's not a big deal, and I'm only mentioning it in case the restauranteur reads this review. I'm close enough where I'm making it my regular thai restaurant. I recommend you...

Every Thai restaurant I go to I like to order their papaya salad. I am pretty picky when it comes to it but this place did an amazing job! Their papaya was the perfect combo of sour, sweet and salty. I’m drooling thinking about their papaya salad. Their Kaopoon was good. It could have been better with some fish sauce and more pepper in my opinion. I would still order it next time though. :) Their dumplings were fulfilling and had lots of meat! The pork belly style was a little different than what I normally see, which is cool. It was extra crispy and the sauce was tasty. The sauce was more on the sour side, which I like! Im not sure if they’re low on staff or what but their was only one waitress and she was also managing the front. Good ups to her! The food came out quick and you can tell it was freshly made due to the food being hot. They social distance their tables, which is awesome. The waitress wore a face mask and comfortably checked on us to see how we we’re doing. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant and will definitely be coming back soon!

There is a wheel chair ramp up to the front door! There is mostly street parking nearby, and with all the snow I'm not sure how close a wheel chair vehicle could park, but this restaurant is worth it. The hostess is very hospitable and spoke to us right away, and asked us to wait one moment while she finished some work. Then she seated us got us some waters and came back to check on us at great times. The gyo zho sp? (chicken dumplings) were amazing. The crispiest i have ever had, so well done. I have the mixed veggie stir fry with pork and medium spice, and for me the medium spice was spot on! It tasted so good. I also got a milk tea and the tea was robust and flavorful and it helped to balance the spice nicely. The atmosphere was nicely balanced, quiet background music to make for easy conversation. Not packed at lunch time so that was nice.
