The food was good but the customer service was horrible. The only person in the front had a headset on and was taking orders for the drive thru, asked me if I needed to place an order and then after I said yes told me I had to wait for someone else rudely and THEN when someone else was taking my order right next to her she kept telling me that I cannot use two codes, this is wrong, you cannot use two DEALS but you can use your rewards for free items back to back. You can only use one deal per hour which is why the app won’t allow you do more than that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using your REWARDS for a free item and then using a DEAL for a $1 fry. She actually went so far as to call me “slick” and was extremely rude to me when I tried to explain what I was doing, cutting me off continuously. I have done this many times and when I have explained politely that it’s a rewards and a deal NOT two deals, I have NEVER had an issue ever until today. It is not slick or wrong. If it was the app wouldn’t allow it. If I wanted to and/or had enough point to do so, I could have gotten 5 free items with my points back to back and STILL only have been able to use ONE deal per hour. Read moreFisrt. I specifically changed the location in my app to a different location due to the poor service at this location. I ordered and at some point McD app changed back to lyndale. There is no way to cancel and reorder or change the location after paying. So after arriving at my perfered location, I had to drive 10 minutes to the other location (both 5 min from my house). There was a small line at the lyndale location so I thought it would be quick. With 2 cars infront of me the first car took 5min. Long but OK. With one car in front of me it seemed the person was talking a lot for an order. After 10 minutes, a McDonald's worker came out with a bag of food, walked around my car, and got in the back seat of the car at the speaker. WTH? After a few more minutes of conversation, the car finally pulled forward. My mobile order took all of 5 seconds at the speaker and I was again behind the same car. I recieved my iced vanilla coffee (no sugar or vanilla with vary little ice) and waited a further 3 min, which was funny because the food was Luke warm, fries were undercooked and soggy, not to mention I got honey mustard instead of honey for my daughter's now cold nuggets. I ordered a m&m mcflurry, got to the second window after paying and waited at least 7 mins for the mcflurry that in the end was sitting on the counter waiting for someone to return from the restroom, rather than someone handing it to me since there was a girl there drinking her cafe mocha, when I got it the drink it was 3/4 full and had no candy on top. I brought it back around and instead of making a new one, they instead adding a regular dose of candy, filled the cup with more ice cream and mixed it.... when I got home 8 blocks the ice cream was half soup at the bottom and as I was eating I found a hair in the mcflurry.
