I don't like to leave negative reviews. Unfortunately I truly just had the worst dining experience I've ever encountered in my entire life here.
My friend had picked this place as a spot for us to celebrate his birthday. Up top our service was great. Our group of 6 arrived at 6pm and were immediately seated. We also were pretty promptly asked for our drink/food order after being seated as well.
I had ordered a simple draft beer and it took 45 minutes for just that to arrive. It had been so long I legit forgot I ordered it, seemingly as the staff had as well...Nobody else at our table was ever asked if they needed any refills the entire time we were there either. We asked for an estimate on when our food would be ready after 50 minutes, but nobody ever came back. I ended up asking our waiter again after an hour had passed if we could get boxes for our food when it was done. Another 15min passed without anyone stopping by our table or our food arriving.
We ended up being there for almost 90 minutes without any food arriving. We told the waiter once we saw her again we just wanted to pay for our drinks and go. They brought us a receipt that still included all of our food items on it we had yet to receive...when we said we just wanted to pay for our drinks and go they "promised" if we could wait "2 more min" our food would be ready.
There was absolutely no way we were going to wait any longer when we already had 30min worth of reassurance our food was "coming soon". The insane thing was that other tables definitely got their food late, but there were MULTIPLE tables of 3-4 people that arrived AFTER us and had already eaten and left the entire time we were still waiting for our food...
I know food service is a demanding field and there's staff shortages across the board, but this was so far and beyond that being the only culprit for this terrible level of service. It's just a completely unacceptable way that our entire time there was handled tonight.
Plus there are plenty of other amazing Mexican restaurants in this area to ever consider this place an option to eat at again. Gilberto's, Taco Chon, Hernandez Burrito. I Highly recommend Añejos, Mexican Village, or La Casita if you want a sit down place that will actually bring the food you ordered out...Hopefully others never have an experience like this here, but it's permanently ruined my opinion of...
Read moreIf I could leave negative stars I would. We are usually very patient especially with COVID going on, but the whole experience was not good. To make a long story short, We had a group of 8 and had called for reservations. They didn't know we were coming, the after taking almost 45 minutes to finally order food (it wasn't very busy for a Saturday night), the food came out for some group members. The description didn't match what came out. The first reasoning was because the menu changed 1 month ago and the cooks "might not have been aware of the change". Then we finally go the manager (who was actually our server). He said that there was no pork because Walmart didn't have pork for them. At this point, it felt like we were being punked on some sort of gameshow. After basically having to be to get our food fixed, nothing else came out right, drinks took too long and when you finally got the drinks from the bar, it wasn't the same as what you ordered last time. Bills were in correct, it just got worse. We finally had one individual go up to our server/manager and he said he would fix the complaint but would not fix anymore because our table had too many complaints.....WHAT?!?!? its not our fault that nothing was done right. To top it all off, we had one final issue at the end and we would hear them discussing, not something everyone else needs to hear. The manager was very argumentative. Just fix the problem and move on. I have been in customer service for many years. JUST MOVE ON! We are normally very forgiving, but you couldn't make this whole experience up. Like I said, it felt like we were on an episode of BAR rescue or something. That everyone had quit the night before and the three or so people they had, were totally new to the whole customer service thing. We will not be...

So basically the reply from the manager is most likely an automated response and they dont really care to call or fix the problem.
The lady manager over here is so lovely. Ive been here plenty of times before the management changed and the service and the food were amazing. I would leave happy and very satisfied with the service. The food was always delicious and the service was amazing. Today is a different story. The chips tasted like nothing no salt no nothing just oil. The salsa had minimal flavor, its like it was diluted with water. The supreme 10’ quesadilla was $12.95 which previously was $9.99 and it was smaller and it weighed something like a 100g (I did talk to the waiter that normally serves me and she apologized and fixed it). The 7 mares was $16.95 and now its $19.99 but if you order it on an app for delivery it $17.99. The waiter was kind but she wasnt experienced. I had to ask for napkins, i had to ask for the water refill (i got the water when i got to the restaurant and when i asked for the refill i got while i was leaving). I ordered the quesadilla to go before i started eating and i had to wait after i finished eating for it because it wasnt ready. Now there is also a fee for ordering to go, there is a fee to pay with a debit/credit card. I felt horrible when i left without tipping but today the service didnt deserve anything and if it was possible for me to deduct out of the bill,...
