Authentic, delicious Mexican food paired with friendly warm and welcoming customer service. Emiliano and his father Francisco greeted my wife and I as we entered the restaurant, noticing it was our first time and offered free samples of everything they had to offer. We tried 3 different flavors of pozole, Mexican pork ribs, birria, barbacoa and more. The samples were so delicious it was very hard to choose. We ordered pozole rojo, enchiladas, a taco platter (asada, barbacoa beef, and al pastor), and a side plate of rice and beans. The pozole came with a chicken taquito, lime, cabbage, onions, cilantro, a slice of avocado and chicharones. We are native to Southern California and I can tell you in the central Minnesota area, there is no better Mexican food than what is served in this restaurant. Don’t spend your money elsewhere. This has every other restaurant beat, and it’s not close. The customer service is on a different level too, we spoke with the two gentleman like we’ve known them for years. They were so kind and made us feel right at home. These recipes tasted like my grandmother (who is from Jalisco) was cooking for me again. Easily comfort food. Would recommend to anyone. They also make horchata and jamaica aguas frescas, not with syrup or instant mix. There are many different types salsas available, my favorite was the avocado salsa. Medium heat level with lots of flavor.

If you're craving authentic Mexican food, look no further—this place is the real deal! From the moment you walk in, the service stands out. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. The food is packed with flavor, showcasing traditional recipes and ingredients that make every bite a delight. They even provide extra hot sauce and salsa, both of which are bursting with flavor, though honestly, the dishes are so well-prepared, you might not even need them. The tortillas are made fresh, soft, and warm, while the beef and chicken are tender and cooked to perfection. We also tried two flavors of the Aguas Frescas and they were refreshing and delicious. We discovered this gem for my birthday when I was craving some genuine Mexican cuisine—not the type of place where you're automatically handed chips and salsa at the table. This is a place that respects the true flavors and techniques of Mexican cooking. It’s now officially our new favorite spot, and it’s definitely worth the 40-minute drive from our house. Can’t wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu! Pictured is the chicken enchiladas, kids combo (cheese quesadilla), and barbacoa de res.

Tres Pozoles has THEE real flavors, with food made fresh daily. This is not Tex-Mex, it's recipes from the owner's mexican family. The pozole is a pork and hominy stew served with a plate of cabbage, tostadas, avocado, etc. to stir in to your liking. The enchiladas are 10x more flavorful than any I've ever had. The birria tacos have a crispy shell, big chunk of soft luscious meat, and cheese with a nice pull. There's also a condiment bar with salsas and veggies, and the homemade horchata is creamy and dreamy. The best thing is the owner, Francisco. He is passionate about sharing his family's foods and will hand you samples of the meats, stews, and drinks with a grin.

I don't usually post reviews on things unless something sweeps me off my feet and this place hit hard. I couldn't wait to tell everyone my experience. I thought there were no more restaurants in this country that know what true love is for food, and this guy has it. I am a semi truck driver trying to find good spots in the north midwest and this is definetely made the number 1 spot on my list. Francisco, who I had the pleasure of speaking with, is the owner and chef of the place and has surpassed my standards in mexican cuisine. I could be in the kitchen with him all day being the taste tester and he would not miss. The authenticity of the food was on par with what I had growing up in San Jose, California. I haven't smelled or tasted the Barbacoa mole in years. Reminded me of making homemade tortillas with my grandma growing up. Which btw, he also does and makes it from scratch. You definetely need to come here and eat. Even if you've never had these fine dishes before, you need to try it. They'll let you sample it. Doesn't get any better than that. I'm so happy I could support local small business. Perfect food for cold weather. Unlike growing up in California when my grandparents thought Caldo de Pollo was a great dish to have in the middle of the 100 degree summers. Nevertheless highly recommended cant wait to go back. Wish I took photos but I forgot too I was too busy enjoying the food. Thank you so much see you all soon.

Ps. EAT AT TRES POZOLES!!!! There's is limited space for semi-trucks across the street in dirt empty lot. But if you can squeeze in do it. I did or park...
