This Chipotle continues to be EXTREMELY unreliable. Day to day you cannot be sure whether or not they will be open, maybe this day they are only taking mobile orders, or maybe that day they aren't. Today when I placed my online order it was accepted....and when I got to the store there was a sign in the window indicating that they would be closed until 3:00pm.
Another time I went there (2 weeks ago now) I placed my online order and selected that I would be picking it up from inside the store. My order was accepted, when I arrived it said that ONLY the drive thru was open. I sat in that line waiting for my online order for 45 mins (which is past my allotted lunch hour with work) and when I got it.....my bowl was wrong. I paid extra for double steak, got MAYBE a 1/2 a scoop full. The bowl was like a quarter of the way empty. If I were the manager I would have had someone running the online orders out to cars...but what would I know. This Chipotle also has some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered, they are more about their friend time behind the counter rather than actually serving folks. They are playing music on their phones pretty loudly, some of them have headphones in..? The cherry on top you ask? The food looks like its been sitting far too long, and the staff just say they are out of things if they don't want to serve you. It makes 0 sense from a business perspective.
Its astonishing that Chipotle corporate hasn't sent someone down to resolve the issues this location is having. The MyBurger next door is booming with business because this location continues to just be a mess. I went to MyBurger today after the chipotle fiasco because I needed a quick, delicious lunch. Their staff is friendly and the service is quick.
Overall this is by far the worst Chipotle in the twin cities, I only say this with confidence because even after my 1st bad experience I kept coming back hoping that this was a one off situation. Unfortunately after todays experience and reading the rest of the reviews its clear that this store is...
Read moreBy far the worst Chipotle I have ever visited. First off, I love Chipotle and I love the app that locates the nearest Chipotle, allows you to order, and has easy pickup by the time you arrive. I was in the area, and noticed this one says 'Chipotlane, I did a little research and it read" "Arguably, it will be the fastest way to get Chipotle — going through the Chipotlane" Boy, was that incorrect. My order was supposed to be ready by 12:30, and when I got there at 12:30, there was a line of literally 20 cars that circled around the store. The dining room was closed so you are forced to use the drive through. I assumed that the line would go fast. However, after 20 minutes, we had moved up two cars, and I think one of those cars just abandoned their order. At the current rate, it would have taken 3 hours to get my order. Since I had to return to work, I also abandoned the line and went back to work hungry.
I thought this maybe was an anomaly but when I checked the reviews and noticed the incredibly slow and apparently poor service has been going on for a long time. What really ticks me off, however, is the generic response that Chipotle replies to all of these complaints. This is obviously a franchise with enormous problems compared to their other stores. It is seriously tarnishing Chipotle reputation. Why doesn't management investigate this store and fix the problems? If they can't fix the problems, they should just shut it down until they are fixed. Had I not gone to this Chipotle, I would have just stopped at a different one that doesn't have these problems. Now, I'm reluctant to go to any Chipotle in the future and I definitely won't be using the...
Read moreI try my hardest to be patient with restaurants as I know they can be very busy and stressful working environments. However, I cannot recommend this Chipotle to anyone. After giving it multiple tries to see if any experience would be redeeming, each validated my thoughts that this is one of the worst Chipotles.
For starters, they changed their hours to not opening until 12. I understand that can be a business decision, which is fine! But I was there one day and there was a group of people waiting to be let in as it was lunch break time. A girl was sitting by the window texting, and even after it was a few minutes after 12, she just continued to text ignoring all of the people waiting. Having to wait over a lunch break because an employee didn't want to open the door isn't a great experience.
Then, the food. I have not had luck any of the times I have been here. First time, I ordered lettuce and they placed one strip of lettuce between my three tacos. The next time, my tortillas were burnt because the lady didn't take them off in time, only for my tacos to crumble with the tortilla cracking as I folded it. Then, my order today was tacos again, which were cold. Not just like they were sitting out and lost the temperature but more like the steak wasn't warmed up properly.
It is hard to want to continue to spend my money when I know it is almost a guarantee my food will be low quality and the customer service...
