Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Minnetonka

I really enjoy the coffee, it's great but The service has felt so frustrating recently. It feels like whenever I go to Caribou they always try to upsell me "is that a large?" "And what food would you like with that" Like just today I went to get one drink and all I said was the drink name and then proceeded with "That's all" But when he confirmed the order he just decided to make it a large. It's just frustrating and if this is a new thing that higher up people are asking the workers to do please stop it is very annoying.

I especially dislike the food one, as it is phrased in a way to psychologically make you think that you need a food with the drink, I'm guessing saying "anything else" would perform worse than a direct call to action with the food with drink reference.

I suggest just letting the customer get what they want instead of asking extra questions just to squeeze extra money from them

Besides that you guys do such a good job at everything else, the atmosphere...

I arrived here for a moment of respite during one of my "Vision quests". My therapist says I should start calling them what they really are: week long benders, but I digress. After being politely informed this wasn't a Wendy's, I requested a breakfast sandwich that they would think is as close to a Baconator as possible. I think I also ordered a Hot Apple Butt Blast or something.  The fireplace area is nice and cozy, and I enjoyed the area all to myself after a Mother and child left quickly at my presence. Soon, with crumbs of my sandwich covering my shirt, I slumbered.  I was awoken with the poking of a broom stick. The employee Leah informed me I needed to leave, they close at three. She was alright,  I think I tipped her but it might have been a page of my vision quest notes. Don't read it it might contain...

To the owner of this Caribou, they close before three o'clock, I know bc I'm there before 3 and they are not open, I'm talking 230-245pm all closed, also I just encounter one of you unpleasant employees, the one with tattoos on her face not judging but I didn't catch her name, again it looked like it was closed at 2pm so I drove through, she came to the window I was apologetic thought they where closed, she snaps at me and doesn't ask me but tells me to go around and put my order whilst I was right there at the window, I was like all I want is a large herbal tea, she slammed the window and gave me so much attitude, she really need to work on customer service if I'm paying over 4dollars for an herbal tea.
