We tried the newly remodeled restaurant. Well I can say one thing the inside decor wasn't remodeled What has changed is the ownership! HORRIBLE!! This owner should not be operating a franchise pizza establishment. Dined in and pizza took over an hour and the restaurant was not busy. Crust was overdone and burnt in some spots. We told our hostess about it and apologized and she was going to let the owner know. He never came by. We gave it another try this time carryout. They told us 45-50 minutes for 1 large thin. We picked up and brought home , 3 minutes away and the pizza was Luke warm. I called them to tell them about our dilemma. She sincerely apologized but said our new ownership no longer gives a future credit for mistakes that might come abroad. After me telling her my frustration she offered to make me a new pie. This time 25 minutes she said. I went back there early enough to make sure my pizza wasn't waiting in the warmer I asked to talk to the owner who I saw him back in the kitchen. I asked the hostess to speak with him. He declined and said to call him tomorrow when there not busy. REALLY ?? How ignorant. When there's a customer who wants to talk to the ownership to share their experiences and they don't wa t to listen ? Then don't be a restaurant owner. Lastly while waiting for my pie I saw the owner counting the number of pepperoni pieces on someone's pizza. He must of put a few to many as he took some off and put them back in the container! Wow. This place won't last 6 months. I don't k ow how he keeps his staff as he's very arrogant and rude. Pizza lovers be ware. Won't be...

I was excited for this place to finally reopen! I had a pick up order the other day I was bringing to a work party and the order was placed at least a day in advance online and still was made late to pick up by about 30 minutes past the time I needed it for our employee’s lunch break. I was called 20 minutes before the order was due to be made aware of the delay of maybe 15 minutes extra, but when I got there at the time she told me it would be ready, I still was left waiting in the restaurant for at least another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant did have a nice atmosphere and decorations for dining in. I marked online that I would need plates and utensils and of course, they didn’t have any plates. The deep dish pizzas I ordered weren’t cut symmetrically they were super thick or thin slices which was annoying. They also weren’t cut all the way through so we had to break a few plastic knives to get the pizza slices cut out. I also ordered their appetizer sampler which probably had 2 decent sized chicken “wings” out if the 5 and the rest were 1/3rd size pieces of what a boneless wing should be. Pretty disappointed in the quality, service, and food - which is unfortunate because there aren’t a lot of restaurants here in town. Though the food tasted great, given the reasons stated above I would think twice about ordering a pick up order here again. I have always had a good experience at the Plainfield location. Hopefully things improve here...

At 2:57 pm, I placed an online order for pickup at 5:00 pm. My family had somewhere to be by 6 pm and this was going to be our meal once we arrived to our destination. I arrived to the restaurant on my way home from work at 5:14 pm and was told my order wasn’t ready and I would need to wait another 5 minutes. I didn’t have time to wait so I told him I needed to leave and I would be back. I came back at 5:30 and inquired why my order wasn’t ready by 5 pm when I placed the order more than 2 hrs ahead of time. I was told they were “busy”. There were NO customers in the restaurant. No cars in the parking lot. Instead of an apology, I was told I should have called instead. I could understand if this was a weekend, but this was a Monday night. 20 minutes after scheduled time is completely unacceptable. The man could care less that the order wasn’t ready on time. When we got to our destination, we realized they had not given us the plates, utensils, napkins, red peppers or Parmesan that was requested when the order was placed. The receipt attached to the order even shows that I requested it. So now we have no way to eat our pizza and salad. I have heard nothing but bad things about this place from others, however, I decided to give them a chance. NEVER AGAIN. They could care less if they lose my business anyway. I won’t...

Sums up our visit. "Shasta" was listed as our server on the receipt... couldn't tell you if that was her name because she barely was at the table. Or maybe it was Bailey like the other receipt....? Either way, obviously three tables to service was two too many. The appetizer plates sat on our table empty until the pizza came. We weren't asked if we wanted our deep dish pizza served but that turned out to be good since one of the plates we were given were dirty. We had to go up front to get water refills and asked her specifically to come to our table. She ran over to drop off the water glasses and then ran away before we could even ask for a box and the check. Also disappointed that I had to ask for a box and the check as most places offer you one once the plates are stacked up with the napkins and silverware on top but at this point, not surprised. Asked to speak to the manager. Manager apologized and did offer a discount. Food was fine.

I’ll admit at this point I started looking for things that I otherwise wouldn’t notice or care about. Mismatched lightbulbs, a whole light fixture missing off the mirror in the men’s room. Are any of them deal breakers? No but come on Giordanos, you can do better!
