Read moreThis is my first restaurant review. At other times I have received poor service, I usually just never return to the restaurant. However, my visit tonight made me think I must voice my concern publicly. I travel alot for work and it is usually the case that BWW is usually a pretty solid bet for a good meal in any town. So while in Minot, I thought I would come here for supper like several trips to the area before. I showed up at 4:55 thinking I could sneak in before the supper rush. Being right about the time of day the place had small number of tables. It took at least 5 minutes before someone (the bartender) came to my table. She said my waitress would be a minute, the bartender was "off", and took a drink order. She would then let my waitress take the rest of my order. Ten minutes later, still without a waitress seeing me, the bartender came back and took my order saying the waitress must be running late. I ordered a basic small order of boneless wings. It then took 30 minutes (I timed it not having a great experience so far) for a runner to bring my order to arrive. When it did, it was boned wings not the boneless I ordered. Its now 5:35, and my food is not what I ordered. I decided not to eat and went to pay the tab at the bar. I didn't raise my voice, curse, or say anything other than I want to pay my bill. Then it took several more minutes for them to figure out how to bill my table because it was assigned to my waitress (who I still hadn't met). The manager couldn't even get into the bill? While signing my receipt at the bar, a member of the wait staff asked me if she could get me a box and I said no I didn't want it because it was wrong. She offered to me not to have to pay (the only positive of the experience; if not paying for food I didn't eat could be considered positive) however, I wanted to pay (& tip the waitress I never saw) so I wouldn't be classified as just another cheap *hole. No, I am a paying customer who had his worst dining (if you can call it that) at the Minot Buffalo Wild Wings. Absolutely shameful service and I may never return to a BWW in any city I travel to or my hometown.
PS to managment: If you are looking at the receipt history to prove timeline facts I stated above, the computer is at least ten minutes behind as my receipt shows 5:30 but I was walking out the door at 5:41 still hungry.
I also have the name of the waitress I never saw who received the tip but don't want to put her name on blast publicly. Contact me directly and I'll...
Read moreI do not review very often but I had to say something on this visit. I ordered a small Veterans Day lunch and did not receive it for well over 40 min. I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t care too much about the time but it seriously was ice cold except the fries when it came. I was probably one of 5 people in the whole store. Then the lunch rush started. My waitress/bartender was exceptional. She was a very bubbly, beautiful woman that was working her tail off. She has excellent customer service skills and obviously is an asset to your company. I’m not from here but my receipt said her name was Kristi. She is absolutely excellent but this management is failing her. She hid her stress and anxiety of the whole situation extremely well. She was the only one that was serving and waiting on customers in the bar area. She had 10 freaking tables and 7 people at the bar. I’m sorry but schedule someone else or call someone in. You are too worried about your bottom line instead of customer service. If this happened to me I know this happened to someone else too due to the lack of staff. On top of everything she was THE only one answering the phone. The only time she slipped and let her true emotions through is when the Stella Artois keg popped and it needed switched. She said “please please not right now, don’t do this to me” while grabbing at her head. Have a freaking bar back to help her or have a manager step in and help her out. Not a single other person did. This was so frustrating to see. She was working her tail off and putting on a damn good poker face for what is going on. You know that kind of situation puts her in a bad predicament to where not many people would tip her. Anyways I don’t know you Kristi but thank you very much and keep on. For the management, help out your employees and don’t set them up...
