Grandma's tears and a side order of "Calling the Police"
I just want to say thank you Red Lobster for the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I appreciate you permanently scratching yourselves off as a restaurant that my family, friends, acquaintances, and hell hopefully anybody that ever reads this review would ever visit.
The story, After apparently some difficulty in finding a restaurant our family could celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's 20th wedding anniversary at. Reservations were made in advance at this Red Lobster for what we hope would be a pleasant family dinner and gathering. Apparently this Red Lobster has a dedicated room for larger groups such as ourselves being three households worth of people (15). Now mind you this was not a special holiday date, 10/29/23, yes I understand it's a Sunday at 2:00 in the afternoon with a half-filled parking lot tells me you're not incredibly busy. Most everybody arrives a little before 2:00 to Grandma talking with the manager on staff. The reservations were logged, booked, and again admittedly known about in advance. But as I'm sure you can guess, the room was full of people just getting their food. Frustrating to say the least, arrangements were going made so that we'd at least be seated together in the restaurant. By this time the entire family had gathered in the lobby of the restaurant including the six children. Seemingly waiting to get seated, trying to get reorganized and establish the change of plans. When moments later the manager approaches us ask us to leave or that they would call the police. I would like to say that there was a scene that such things were warranted, but alas, no yelling, no screaming, no cursing, no knocking thing over, or any other deviant behavior offered back in response, we just left. Our family gathered up and exited the building, trying to figure out how to salvage the situation, quell Grandma's tears, and get everybody loaded back into their vehicles. We were than followed outside by management, and told again they were calling the police. For which we answered "Go ahead, we're leaving and trying to find someplace else to go."
Thank you "Papa Vinos" for stepping up and making the rest of that day, the wonderful rememberable experience of 20th year anniversary should be.
Giving it time to go over in my head. I am very grateful that we did not eat at Red Lobster, nor ever will again, if that is how management Acts, I can only wonder and fear for what the food and service would have been like. Taking time to look over their most recent reviews, it does not look like we were the first, and I'm fairly certain won't be the last. So please Anyone who reads this review, be warned...

Read moreHighly disappointed So June 25th 2025 at 450pm my husband and I decided to come to red lobster for dinner. They had specials going on my husband and I knew what we wanted. Ordered our food when our server( didn't even know his name), came back with our drinks. We got the lobster boil/shrimp boil. Server brought out 3 sodas for my husband and then a second thing of bread. Still waiting for our food. Mind you it was not super busy we waited. Never once did he come over and apologize for our wait, just passed us time and time again, gave everyone around us food, and even someone dessert. These were people that arrived after us. Like 20 mins or more after us. We waited an hour and we were finally able to get his attention after he tried to quickly walk away when my husband tried to get his attention. He handed out everyone else's bills we still had no food. My husband now irritated beyond anything I can say, kindly asked for the bill for our drinks as we have been waiting for an hour for our food. The servers response oh they are preparing it now..... nope sorry we have been here now over an hour waiting for our food for said hour. We asked for bill again because we were leaving as we were tired of waiting for our meal. He told us no charge, not once did he offer us to speak to the manager or apologize for it taking so long. Just ignoring us the entire time except to just quickly drop a soda off 3x and quickly grab an empty cup from the only one he drank. Very disappointed with the service and lack of customer service we received or lack of receiving. Sadly it will be a long time before we return to the Red Lobster in Mishawaka. Rude and unprofessional, thanks for ruining our date night out.

Awesome service. Our server was Kandi so sorry if I spell her name wrong. She was fabulous very nice helpful funny a people person and despite her running her butt off she actually stopped to make sure she took care of all her customers, even ones who seemed to say one thing and then wanted something completely different she served us with a smile and very pleasant manner. She even helped my husband figure out the payment thingy which was in fact very finicky. Awesome awesome job and thank you for being very kind and helpful and absolutely so happy (even after I reminded her its been a Monday). Will definitely ask for Kandi (candy ) next time we are there. Read moreIf I could give the Mishawaka, IN location a NEGATIVE (-) rating....I sure would. The management of this location was awful, not at all customer friendly. We order from work for 4 people & spent $82. One of our lunch orders was missing. We called & spoke to a manager (there were 2 on duty), who then referred to the other manager because she didn't know how to handle the concern. The concern is.....we ordered our lunch ONLINE, on RED LOBSTER TO GO. We had it delivered, we never went to a delivery service, we were never directed to an outside service. We clicked on "DELIVERY". Then it asked for our address....so we PUT OUR ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY in. We paid online. We received a confirmation of payment. When we call Red Lobster in Mishawaka, IN, the manager told us that we had to have ordered through a delivery service since they don't offer delivery through their location. No where were we ever directed to an outside delivery company or a "call-center", as the manager commented. Then the manager basically called me a "liar" stating that we had someone from our business come pick it up. He finally did agree to bring the missed item to our location himself after about a 15 minute back & forth blaming on the phone. When he dropped the missed item off at our front desk, he did not say a word, he did not apologize, he did not say ANYTHING!!! He put it on the counter & turned around & walked out. I was the 2nd person from our office that called about this situation. When the 1st girl called & spoke to a female manager, the response she got was the same with an added "let me talk to corporate to figure this out". She never gave us a form of follow up to this issue. So that left one girl in the office without lunch....still. That's when I called & spoke to a gentleman that identified himself as the "other manager". I would have not been upset if we weren't brushed off in the 1st place. And he did tell me that this has happened before. So my response was "then you should understand that I did order it for delivery from you specific online location". No customer service AT ALL!
