@DairyQueen – Today I visited the drive thru of location at 25882 El Paseo, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 and I received the worst customer service. What was supposed to be a special trip to Dairy Queen for my 2 disabled brothers to celebrate their birthdays turned out to be every bit of disappointing. I ordered 2–4-piece BBQ Honey Glazed chicken strip baskets and was very clear to the cashier Yuri (Euri) that I wanted the strips covered in sauce and not just the BBQ dipping sauce. I also requested Dairy Queens new house dipping sauce, which I had to correct Yuri (Euri) several times as she continuously referred to it as “ranch”. Upon surprising my brothers with their highly requested lunch only to have them open it and their order be completely wrong. Seeing the disappointment on the faces of my 2 disabled brothers, I decided to call the location to see if they would correct the order only to be told by Yuri that I gave her the incorrect order and that I was at fault for placing the order incorrectly. I told her that I was clear of the order I placed as I wouldn’t not have messed up this specific request for 2 birthday boys with disabilities. She was in refusal of exchanging the meals to the correct meals or making the situation right in any way. My daughter also reached out to the location and spoke with a woman claiming to be a manager (Tasha) that told her she didn’t know the correct spelling of Yuri’s name and that she couldn’t give out the correct spelling of the name that would be visible on the employee’s nametag. If I had to rate my experience and tell a friend about Dairy Queen, I would rate it a negative number and suggest they take their business elsewhere. I always thought DQ was a family friend company that cared about their customers but based on the service I got today I was clearly mistaken.
Best regards,

Rating: ★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars)
As a long-time patron of Dairy Queen, I was thrilled to discover this branch conveniently located off the freeway near my home. My family and I decided to pop in for a quick meal, sampling an assortment of items from their menu.
We spent around $40 and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The flavor profile was nothing short of fantastic. Despite being a fast-food establishment, Dairy Queen really went the extra mile to ensure every bite was savory and fulfilling.
What truly sets Dairy Queen apart is its consistency in delivering great-tasting food. Whether you're a first-time customer or a loyal fan like myself, the food never fails to hit the spot. For anyone who appreciates good, satisfying fast food, this place should be at the top of your list.
We didn't get a chance to sample the desserts this time, but with their reputation, I'm sure they won't disappoint. The kids are already looking forward to our next visit!
In conclusion, this Dairy Queen branch retains the quality and flavor that the chain is known for, and its location adds another layer of convenience for families living in or passing through the area. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by - you won't be...
Read moreI used to work for Madras Dairy Queen in Madras Oregon under late kimm mallard and it was a great experience for a 14 year old teenager and we followed all protocols and followed the basic laws for service and cleaning. Restrooms was always cleaned and ready for customers because washing hands is detrimental for health prior to eating. Open to the public and able to witness food being prepared by the workers in a clean safe environment. Since the pandemic, everything seemed to change for dairy Queen in the bend Oregon stores. My hope is for these doors to open to dine in and for dairy Queen to become quality served to all and everyone following fda regulations and drug testing become a thing for a successful establishment once again. I wanted to speak with corporate about this but I can not find a number or name thru Google. As a child and my first real job, it was a challenge but a great learning experience to learn great customer service. Number one rule of thumb for success is....providing great food and service...the customer is the one we want back. So in hopes for our dairy Queen to open the doors for a great family dining experience again. And become everyone's favorite place for that ice cream treat because we...
