4/26/2024 return visit I called Brian as the Sony XSVAX4000 touchscreen stereo was acting up a bit. Brian said to bring it in, so I stopped by. Juan, the service tech who did the install, saw me pull up and came out immediately. I explained, and he already knew that there was an issue as Brian had briefed him. Juan immediately began looking at the radio and was troubleshooting. Brian and I spoke, and he had to run out for a while and introduced me to Chris. Chris was also very knowledgeable and kind. I thanked Brian as he left and really appreciated his customer friendly service and knowledge. Chris was informed by Juan that the Sony XAVSX4000 head unit was defective. Unfortunately, Chris checked the inventory, and they were out of that model. Without hesitation, Chris upgraded the radio to a Sony XAVAX6000 at no cost. Now that is outstanding customer service. These guys are not only knowledgeable, professional, and friendly but also know business solutions and effective resolutions when faced with defective products, etc. I commend Chris for his skills, and also, while I was there, I watched him make other sales after fully explaining options relative to equipment and installation. Both Chris and Brian are well versed in car audio and video equipment, and I was very impressed with their transparency and approach. The installation department is led by Juan, who is a master installer, and he has two additional staff members that work with him. I can't say enough about this business, the people who own and operate the business and their amazing service. Highly recommended.

Initial installation What a fantastic experience at West Coast Auto Sound today with my wife's car. I reached out to Farouk and met with Brian, who showed me a few options relative to products that would work in the car. We looked at Navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay as well as rear backup cameras and factory style fog lamps. The selection in the store is vast and well stocked, and after talking with Brian, I was sold on a nice Sony system. The service installers Juan and Moses were amazing and quite knowledgeable. Juan gave me a nice orientation on the system and how all the features work. I was quite impressed. The service requested exceeded my expectations in quality, installation, and warranty. The team at West Coast Auto Sound is phenomenal, and the service requested was completed in approximately 4 hours. The pricing is quite competitive, and Brian's customer service and warranty added much to the overall value. I came in to West Coast Auto Sound with a work truck with audio which isn't working. I wasn't sure if it was just the radio or the radio and the speakers that need to be replaced. They were eager to pull the truck around and get me to hand them my keys. They did a very short inspection (about 5 minutes) and then told me the radio and all four speakers needed to be replaced. I asked the pricing and told them I'd have to get approval from my company before we could move forward. The staff member then, out of the blue, told me I was required to pay a $30 "inspection" fee, which had never been discussed or mentioned prior. This, of course, could be credited back to me if I spent $400+ with them. Being in a service industry myself, I know it's not hard at all to let customers know about charges PRIOR to performing work. Despite their pricing being comparable to other places I've researched and a quick turnaround time, the whole situation was very uncomfortable and pushy. I'll be getting the work...

I had an amazing experience at West Coast Auto Sound! I walked in looking to upgrade my truck's audio system, and Farouk was incredibly helpful from the start. He showed me the Alpine ILX-F509 with a stunning 9” screen, and I was blown away by how sleek and functional it looked. He also recommended the Alpine Type R speakers and amp, which sounded incredible when paired together.

Farouk didn’t stop there—he introduced me to the Alpine dash cam that works with the alpine screen, and a K40 radar detector system. I had no idea about the jammer system and laser defusers, but Farouk took the time to explain everything in detail, and I was thoroughly impressed.

The whole vibe of the store felt fresh, and the service was top-notch. It’s clear that West Coast Auto Sound has made some GREAT changes, and the new crew is awesome.
