I retired in 2008 and starting hanging out at this store because it's close and my daughter used to work there while she was in High School. I met a bunch of great guys and became good friends with most of them; some of them have been at this store for over 20 years where they became known as the "Starbucks guys". Very recently the first guy I met there was escorted out by OC deputies after being reported by the manager for behavior. I wasn't there but I know him well. We would get loud sometimes but never out of control. We never had any problems until this latest manager started at the store where we were asked to "keep it down" or we would be asked to leave. Many times OC deputies were actually part of our group. Suffice it to say, after 20+ years for some in the group, this was the last straw and we are meeting at a new location. Read moreThe only issue I have about this location, and in my opinion it's a big issue, is that your mobile order drinks get stolen often! I get that they are probably annoyed with this occurrence as well, and being right near the high school I can only assume that is the cause of the issue. I get it happening once and a while but it has happened to us several times now and something needs to be done. It's annoying to have most of our order sitting there, warm and ready to go to find one was stolen and now having to wait for them to make another while my other items get cold. I don't think every starbucks needs to have someone working the mobile order checkout but if you have this problem constantly then they need someone watching the orders and handing them to people instead of letting anyone grab what they want. I've been to Starbucks that do that, at least ask for a name, but I don't know why this one...
Read moreExtremely poor customer service. Walked over to Starbucks on a hot August afternoon with my son for the two-for-one macchiato special. There were two other people in front of us, and the barista is taking a long time with a lady that doesn't know how to use her Starbucks app to pay for her order. She finally pays, and the guy ahead of me orders the two-for-one machiato special. But when I try to order, the barista tells me it's now after 5pm and I have to pay full price because it is one minute after the special ended. Seriously?
