Subway — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

Im giving this location only one star because this is my second time here in two weeks and the service was so bad that I walked out before even being served. On my first visit the employee sounded sick and made the sandwich sloppily without even putting the minimum amount of veggies. I worked at a Subway for 4 years, so I dont blame the employee for working sick, but rather the managers/owners for pressuring sick employees to still come into work. Anyways, on the second visit (8/31/2025 @ 6pm) to this location I walked in while the employee was just starting what looked like a mobile order with two simple(flat bread, chicken strips, lettuce, tomato) sandwiches. I was the only customer in the whole store. I walked in and said hi when we made eye contact but she said nothing and looked down like "oh great.... a customer". She then continued making the mobile sandwich order SLOW AS HECK without acknowledging me at all. When the sandwiches were baking, she had plenty of time to acknowledge me, start my order and at atleast get the bread out, but no. When she took the sandwiches out of the oven and was finally ready to wrap them she was still going so slow with a very relaxed demeanor that the whole negative experience since walking in felt very...

It's subway to respond to the owner. If you are going to remodel change the appearance close the shop get it done and move on.

You have building materials in the dinning area that is not pleasant to see when you walk into the dinning area.

Your staff has gotten a little bit better but let's be honest the tables were dirty full of bread crums you have 2 guys behind the counter picking their nose and a dirty dinning area and you want to impress me. I was being polite but let me be honest with ya I would not be going back. It does not take 2 people to make a sandwich it takes 1 and when you have a empty dinning area with every table full of bread crums and trash you want me to be impressed try again.

The dinning area tells me how clean your kitchen area is.

The vegetables looked frozen tomatoes specially, lettuce looked dry, and other veggies looked like they were old.

I like Subway a lot. I always look for their weekly coupons.

I like the new sandwich offerings as well as my favorites like meatball. I'm not a huge fan of their tuna, but for lots of people it's their go to sandwich. My wife loves them.

Plenty of parking including handicapped.

This looks like the one on Marguerite Pkwy in Mission Viejo. The people were very friendly and made my sandwiches just right. If you like a chicken sandwich try the shredded chicken out. Very good.
