Experience: I went right before the dinner rush and avoided the long line to be seated. Even with this, my company and I had to wait a long time before being served food. Not awful for only being open for 3 days, but the problem comes with online orders. There are so many online orders and to-go that people were being ignored as they entered the restaurant only to be told to wait a very long time for the order to be put in the queue. There are definitely staffing/operation issues at the time of review.
Food: For a Fine Thai Cuisine experience I was disappointed. I ordered what is normally known as yellow curry. I was disappointed that I paid $18 for tofu curry that came with only potato and onion. The flavor of the curry itself was on the underside of flavorful. The menu didn't describe the curry to be spicy, and in fact I love and can handle very spicy foods, but would be terribly spicy to the average person. My company ordered the pad Thai which contained too much fish sauce, even for my liking. This can be subjective due to the restaurant being new. We both ordered Thai tea. The flavor of the tea was robust and paired well with the sugar and half and half. My only complaint is the tea was not filtered enough. Tea leaf particles made its way through and left residue on the bottoms of our glasses.
Conclusion: If the restaurant plans on improving the model, I would suggest increasing the staff and adding to the entrees. At this price point, I think a lack of ingredients is a crucial mistake that can't afford to be overlooked. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. I was very excited to have a new Thai restaurant in town, but I will be attending other Asian restaurants...
ย ย ย Read moreI ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup which is notably not labeled as spicy nor lists any potentially spicy ingredients on the menu. My small cup of soup had half a dozen full chili peppers in it. Not expecting them to be there, I didnโt realize they were in my soup until I have fully consumed one. The pepper caused extreme pain on my lips, tongue, throat, and stomach, unlike anything I have ever experienced. My food was inedible and made me feel ill yet I was still expected to pay for it. Whatโs more, the waiter acknowledged that my food was inedible, as well as the fact that multiple other tables were experiencing the same thing. A woman at the table next to my group complained about the issue as well and all the wait staff did was bring us water, not offer us complementary milk or bread nor assure us that we would not have to pay for inedible food. I heard complaints coming from multiple other tables as well as other customers coughing.
I left the restaurant starving, nauseous, and incredibly unhappy. I donโt know what kind of error in the kitchen caused a plague of chili peppers to descend upon multiple customers at once but this experience was completely unacceptable and I will not...
ย ย ย Read moreBest Thai in Missoula hands down. My partner and I feel it's our favorite of all Asian type cuisine in Missoula as well. We've eaten here a few times and everything is just seriously delicious. Tonight we had Thai Summer Rolls, Pad Pak, and Thai Fried Rice and enjoyed how flavorful and well executed everything was. The sauce on the Pad Pak is very tasty and the veggies were perfectly done. The fried rice is fried well, and hard to stop eating. In the past we have gotten a couple different curries and Thai Tea and all of that was wonderful as well. The ambiance is nice, restaurant is clean and inviting. Our waitress was lovely and was handling all tables and takeout orders like a boss too. Just a solid spot that I highly recommend to all.
Review update 7/13/25 We finally found something we didn't much care for on our visit tonight and that was the Thai Barbecue Chicken. It was quite literally half a rotisserie chicken. We expected it to actually be barbecued. However, this might be helpful if someone in your crew is a bit of a picky eater since it's just chicken, rice, with sauce on the side! Not terrible, just super plain and it just wasn't what we were...
