Read moreThis is my "home" Starbucks. I just get a grande sized dark roast with half and half and one raw sugar, pretty much every day. But this really isn't a review about Starbucks coffee.
To be honest, though I enjoy my coffee, I come here for the community. I've been coming here for close to a decade. I always walk in for my coffee. I never order through the app or go through the drive through. That way I get to know the baristas here and they get to know me, very slowly but surely. Some I consider to be friends but all are "friendly".

My wife was humble enough to leave the store while I waited for our drinks. When I was leaving I wanted to ask the manager a question. I don’t think she listened to me...just spoke loudly over any words I attempted to speak. I wasn’t even able to finish a sentence.
So I left. Even as I silently left she was still loudly speaking at me.
I’m new to Missoula (from Portland). I’ve been to this store a few times. The quality of their drinks has been off most times I visited. I never said anything. I started going to the Starbucks inside a grocery store because the people were nice (and my drink was perfect).
Kindness goes a long way. I enjoyed my third place for many years. But it’s time to find a new place.
Please be kind to your...
