Went there tonight for dinner for the first time ever. It's very comparable to Taco Bell but with a couple of better differences. The tacos were about the same with a slightly different flavor; I will be honest I do prefer Taco Bell's tacos over Taco John's. I also got a steak burrito and that was pretty delicious. I wouldn't change much about it. That was also pretty comparable to Taco Bell though the texture of the meat was a little bit different I'm not sure which I prefer. I also got a chicken burrito which was absolutely fantastic. The rice that was inside was perfectly seasoned with lime and I believe cilantro but it really made the burrito come together. I then ordered a chicken strip and tater tot side item which I was kind of disappointed with because the picture on the menu looked like they were big chicken strips and these are not big chicken strips these are like tiny little chicken chunks. I will say additionally that the person at the microphone taking my order was absolutely awesome very professional and super courteous. In this day and age it's very rare to find that kind of hospitality when ordering food from a restaurant drive-thru. The only part of the whole meal that I was really really disappointed in was the fact that I asked for a bunch of mild sauce and hot sauce and I got zero. For that reason I'm glad that I brought this food home because I had plenty of different hot sauces at home that I put on the food. But I am sad that I didn't get to try any of their hot or mild sauce. All in all this was a very good meal and I will definitely return to this location...
Read moreI got here with one other person in the restaurant already. I ordered the Super Potato Oles, specifically saying "the tater tot nachos", a churro and a drink. I barely sat down before they called my name for my food. Went to throw some jalapenos on it and realized they'd given new regular nachos. Went up to the counter and told them they'd made a mistake. Instead of causing a fuss I just asked for a side of potato oles, figuring I'd just dip them off something in the cheese, bringing my card, ready to pay. They offered to switch my order and I said no, I didn't want to waste the food, knowing they'd just throw it away. I came here specifically for the tasty potato oles. While I'm talking to one lady the guy who originally rang up my order enters in my New order. I looked down at the price and it was over $5. I knew the oles aren't that expensive so I asked what did you charge me for. He tells me its for a Super Potato Ole....not just the oles like I'd asked for. So I've spent $15 on a meal for one at this fast food joint. I tried to brush it off. I figured I could gift three regular nachos to the next person in need I see. However.. Since i have been sitting here I have witnessed SIX other orders messed up, both in the restaurant and the drive-thru. Communication people. Communication. Won't be back to this location for my tasty...
Read moreDefinitely do not recommend and I will not return to this establishment. When our food arrived at the drive through window I had to ask for napkins to wipe the cups off before putting them in the vehicle then when the bag was handed over it had a nice yellow surprise of nacho cheese sauce all over including the handles. When we opened the bag not only were we missing items but the items we did receive were in total disarray. A small box was placed on the bottom of the bag which ad been squished by the rest of the order and when the box was opened it looked like something I wouldn't even feed my dog...When I brought my concerns inside I was met by a supervisor that simply said that happens sometimes....At that point I requested my money back which required the manager approval which I then had to show the unappealing disarray for another time..At that point I also mentioned that they never counted my change back and handed me a jumbled mess of bills and coinage....I definitely DO...
