Not a pleasant experience - first off, drove for quite a ways with two kiddoes in tow and had selected this property simply because of the hot tub and the swimming pool. We get there, and it says "Swimming pool and hot tub is closed until Friday October 13th" - generally speaking, if they give a specific and precise date when the facilities will become available, it means that it's either maintenance or it's something they had known about - it wasn't a random breakdown requiring repair (I would find out later it's was grout work and repainting)! They could have placed this (that the pool and hot tub would not be available for these dates) on the official Choice Hotels specific website for this property when I had booked my reservation on there. I had then asked the young lady at the front desk if I could cancel. She said no, because it wasn't within the cancellation window. I said - "Even though I was not alerted to the fact there would be some sort of maintenance on the pool and it would be unavailable??" - the kind young lady had then offered a 10% discount, so I did not feel like arguing this with my credit card company if I were to walk out and stay somewhere else that had a functioning pool and hot tub, so we stayed. She then had asked me if I wanted to leave it on the credit card that I booked it on through the Choice website. I responded - "No, please use that credit card to hold the deposit, and on check out, I would prefer to pay in cash." Apparently, at this hotel, you have to pay the cost of the room up front plus a $150 cash deposit if you are using cash money. Apparently, you cannot lay down a credit card just to hold the deposit and pay for the cost of the room in cash when you checkout at this property. I have never, ever, ever, ever ever, ever, never been to a hotel that does not let you lay down a credit card ONLY for the deposit and then pay the room cost in cash when you check out in the morning at the end of your stay. The room itself was reasonably clean, but was in severe need of an upgrade. there are scratches and dings on all the furniture and the tiny flat screen TV looked like it was Generation One of the flat screens circa 2002. Finally, their being unable to "voice authorize" my credit card that I placed on the Choice hotels website when I had originally made the reservation, they had asked me have to go down to the front desk and straighten it out with a different credit card......that was pretty much the cherry on top of this sundae for this property. Understand - The two young ladies at the front counter were beyond patient and helpful!! THEY literally were the only reason this property did not get one star. Choice really has to establish reasonable policies and force its franchisees to follow those reasonable policies. Strongly suggest giving this property a miss and stay somewhere substantially closer to i-90 instead.

We needed a safe place to spend the night in Montana before making our final push to Washington, and the SleepInn ended up working out perfectly. The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful. We didn't realize the rooms did not come equipped with a fridge and she managed to find us one last minute so that we could refrigerate medicine! Our hero 💕 The rooms were well made up and nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable and had a LOT of pillows which I found very delightful. My bed did seem to have a broken spring or something not quite right with the matress's balance but it ended up not impeding my sleep. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of items such as waffles, biscuits & gravy, cereal, sausages and scrambled eggs, and various juices & coffee. So even though wildfires were looking on the edges of the city creating what appeared to be Armageddon like smoke formations, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. 👍

Not worth it. What a dump of a hotel. Room smelled like Urine. So we went to the front desk. Was told my options were to pay for a room upgrade (which is a scam) or they would cancel my room. No option to clean it or even move us. Manager threatened to kick us out though the room was paid for and we had brought our stuff in. The front desk didn’t offer to help clean the room or sanitize it. Instead I was told pay for an upgrade or they would kick us out. Manager then proceeded to threaten us that we were going to be asked to leave. It was busy season so they didn’t care about us. Was told the rooms are very clean. See picture. They don’t care about the customer just making a buck off of people. Read the reviews and the “owner” comments first. They even fail at actually dealing with the problem. All conversations were recorded and sent to choice.

In summary, no hot water, tried to kick me out of my room (that was ensured to me by the manager through email), ran out of breakfast, and did not put an end to the party in the room next to me. DON'T STAY HERE!

Here are the details: Let's start with the fact it's 3:52am. There is a RAGING party going on next door) screaming, laughing, loud music, door continually slamming... I called the front desk. Even after their visit to the room, the party continues.

I decided to give this hotel another try after not having hot water last time. The manager was very nice and reached out to offer me a room upgrade if I gave them another try. The first night, things were great. I had a thank you card all written out and ready to give the manager.

During my communication with the manager on 8/31-9/1, I asked to extend my stay by one night. I was given email confirmation that it was arranged and that I'd get the upgrade and room extension.

Then, while I was at the UM football game, I got two phone calls trying to ask why my belongings were still in the room (11:57am). I explained that the manager (Haseena) had arranged it weeks earlier. They said that they needed to move me out of my room to another one. I told them I was not coming back to the hotel until evening. They said they would call me back.

I stressed about that the rest of the afternoon. I didn't know if I was coming back to all of my luggage packed up on a new room or if I didn't have a room at all. It ruined my afternoon that I paid a lot of money and time to have with my sons. I never heard back from them, even though they said they'd call back.

At 4:46pm (after the game), I called them back. They said they had no confirmation that I was staying 2 nights but that I was in the same room. I got back to the hotel at 9pm to go to bed. Then my room card wouldn't work because they canceled my reservation.

This is after this morning at breakfast at 845am when they ran out of waffle mix and said they wouldn't have any until Tuesday. They also were out of muffins, the eggs and meat were not just lukewarm, but COLD to the point you had to put them in the microwave. And tropical juice was pouring out water. (Breakfast was to be served until 10 and was a big reason we booked). It's UM Family weekend on game day and you don't have enough food ordered or the ability to cook it to a safe temperature?

I'm so frustrated and angry right now. I have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow and now I can't sleep. I stressed all day yesterday, on what was supposed to be special day with my boys. I took time off, drove 3 hours, bought tickets and spent over $400 to give this hotel another try (and around $900 in Missoula). I'm very disappointed.

The party is still going on (it's 4:13am) I wake up to call the front desk and I have a bill under my door.

No breakfast, room roulette chaos, locked out of my room, and a RAGING party, but they made sure to slip the bill under the door.

I am traveling monthly to Missoula for the next 2 years and was hoping this could be my home base. I told this to the manager last time and they promised a better stay.

I should have gone with my gut. Now I've paid a total of 3 nights here over the past 2 months. I'm tired, frustrated and angry.

I usually reach out directly to a company to express concerns before posting a public review. I tried that last time. But when you're up at 4am because of a party, there is no...

i must say that the service of the Missoula Sleep Inn was OUTSTANDING, and an extra special recognition for Riddick the front desk clerk was exceptionally very helpful to me as i'm in a wheelchair and the room i was assigned to was room 112 which is the only room in the whole hotel with a Roll In Shower and the room itself is not really that roomy for a wheelchair but Riddick made it as roomy as possible for my 12 day stay and moved the bed aside as much as possible to give me more room on one side of bed to get in and out also removed extra nightstand and chair so i could be a little less confined. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible, and this young man deserves some kind of recognition and maybe even some kind of bonus. ALL Staff members were very polite and friendly. the breakfast bar was sufficient and just wished it was a little roomier for a wheelchair to maneuver around in there as it is tight quarters, but the morning staff was helpful to me if i needed something in the breakfast area. only complaint i had but not a big deal was the sausage was really salty but i don't use salt so of course i can taste it more than maybe the average person. I do have a complaint about this board that is in the door way as you go in and out of the room that needs to be removed. it is like going over a speed bump in your car sort of speak. it was a hinder to my exiting and entering my room. if i had a manual wheelchair it would have been a real challenge of going in and out of my room. but it gave me a lot of trouble at times to go in and out with an electric chair. it was very hard bump, and it did hurt my legs with the jarring as i went over it. i understand that people not in a wheelchair don't fully get what some small thing can cause us in a chair big problems, or should i say challenges. and lastly the soap and shampoo they offer in the shower was behind the chair that we sit in so it was a major challenge to get to it. so i did ask the manager to put it on the side so where we could access it with ease while in the chair. and she agreed she would have it moved and i hope she did have that done. other than those couple of minor issues it was a pleasant stay as possible and again i got to say the STAFF were Very Friendly and Helpful. A BIG...
