Absolutely amazing food! We also had a wonderful experience eating here. The dishes are handmade and fresh. I teared up with every flavorful bite. Everything my wife and I tried was full of delicious homemade flavor. I noticed that in the Gulab Jamun dessert the cardamom wasn’t just chopped, but ground by hand to get the perfect consistency. This is the sort of attention to detail that distinguishes Chettinad from other restaurants. We had the Calamari Cochin, Lemon Pickle, Lamb Korma, Okra Masala, Tamarind Rice, Masala Tea, and Gulab Jamun. We ordered a lot because we wanted to try a little bit of everything. My wife and I both ate until we were beyond full and have leftovers for another meal. I recommend everything and will be back to try more dishes!

Omigosh! I haven't had Indian food in years, since Bombay Brasserie in the Village closed and my favorite chef (formerly ran the kitchen at Ashoka) left Houston. Saw the reviews online and decided to give it a try. I am so happy that I did. Got a huge to-go order of Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Okra Masala, Naan, and more. I ate a full plate, put together four future meals to freeze, and saved enough to feed my son and me tomorrow. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious! The flavors were spot on and the portions were huge! This place is little hole in the wall and it's a hidden treasure. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. :)

Not the best first time experience. I am giving this 2 stars because 2 out of the 3 items I ordered were very good, the Garlic Naan and the Lamb Samosa. But the main course, the Mutton Kadai was a big disappointment. 45% of the dish was inedible(see pic). This is all bone, cartilage. And what meat I could eat was not cooked tender at all. Mutton tends to be chewy but this was extra chewy. For what I spent on this I expected better. I have Indian restaurants closer to where I live but decided to try this based on the reviews. I won't go out of my way to visit here again.

In every aspect of ways they deserve to sustain in this industry. Not only are their food amazing but also they're compassionate and understanding. I ordered online and went blindly without checking if I had my wallet. Clearly I changed my pants and the rest is history. They actually told me to take the food and pay them later. They don't even know me from Adams but the trusted they bestowed spoke millions. Thank you Jomb. I'll never forget. If I'm in this neighborhood, rest assured, you're gonna hear more from me. All compliments of course. Again, Thank you. Now, Let me call you so I can make...
