Says Temp. Closed. Well it's about time. I told everyone I know not to come here. I wanted it to be a good place but that is not what it is. We where going to go to Soto's and saw this place in the corner. A young man working there talked to us about the place and we decided to give it a try. My wife started sending pics to our friends who we eat out with all over Sugarland. Before I ordered the Chicken wings I asked if they could do them Extra - Extra Crispy? He said yes and I ordered them. When they came out they where Far from even crispy. The Young man came to the table and said They are not crispy , sorry let me take them back ...A minute later, A almost Rude Indian lady came out with the wings and said They are not Breaded so there for they can not make them crispy. Ok I am 47 years old, I know how to cook! I eat non battered chicken wings all the time, ( wings and things, Thai Cottage, and more) YES you can Make them crispy! Just simple cook them longer and they dry out a bit and you have it. TRUTH IS This lady did not want to re cook them the way I ordered them. The older man there Did offer to take them off the bill but I said I would pay as I want them to understand I am not looking for FREE FOOD, And if you don't want to make them crispy ok, But don't come out and Lie to me and say you cant....I give one star not because the other food I got was bad, in fact it was good. I had plans to bring my crew here and give them more business, that's the truth but To not want to own up to there mistake and tell me you can't do what I can do and other places can do ????? So sadly, I will not come back, and with out people like me coming back, I think it will just be a slow death for them. I thank the two men who where polite, but the lady is the reason I will never return. Thank you all for reading , maybe she will read this and change but I truly doubt it, I don't feel she really cares for the people who are trying to...
Read more5/5 Stars - A True Hidden Gem! I recently had the pleasure of discovering Off The Vine, a true hidden gem in Missouri City. This intimate tasting room was recommended to me by Lynn Clouser · Mayor Pro Tem at the SBAC small business advisory committee, and I'm so grateful for the suggestion. From the moment I walked in, owners Manish and Namita Asthana made me feel like family. The service was exceptional, with Manish's perfect wine recommendations pairing beautifully with Namita's spot-on food suggestions. The welcoming atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The wine list is expertly curated, with something for every palate. I appreciated the opportunity to try new varietals and vintages, all of which were described in detail by Manish. The light bites offered were the ideal complement to the wine, with Namita's recommendations enhancing each tasting. Off The Vine is more than just a wine bar - it's a community. The personalized service makes you feel like a valued guest. I'm already looking forward to returning and experiencing more of what they have to offer. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or just discovering the world of wine, Off The Vine is a must-visit. Be sure to ask about their private events, storage lockers, and wine club memberships for an even more elevated experience. A huge thank you to Manish and Namita for creating such a special place, and to Lynn for the recommendation. I can't wait to go back and...
Read morePlace is ok. Needs more variety of ordering options as well as alternatives to their standard offerings for special eaters. The veggie burger 🍔 was good, however this great accomplishment was overshadowed by the stale, soggy, pale "chips" item they were paired with. They had the texture of Styrofoam and could not be eating whatsoever. We had to discard of them. It would have been much better choice to simply serve with fries 🍟 like mostly all restaurants do or allow a chip selection for the customer to choose from instead of choosing for them. The "chicken tenders" was also ordered which brought another issue once we discovered these items had been cut ✂️ or altered into pieces instead of serving as actual whole chicken tenders in full strip form. Tenders should always be fully breaded and batter "SEALED" on all sides with no meat exposed when serving. As a result of this only the fries 🍟 could be eating and the altered chicken pieces had to be discarded. Sometimes cooks and restaurants have bad days, maybe this was the case here, but hopefully this is not an ongoing theme. We will try them again a second time to see if it's a better day and if some of these great ideas💡 and suggestions can be implemented to gain more stars 🌟 We tried them again and they did better and made some good changes, so as a result they gained an...
