First time visiting here with family and was a terrible experience. When we were sat, I asked for a beer/wine menu and our waitress said they didn't have one and told me to look at the TV by the bar that had their beer options. Server didn't even know any of them of the top of her head, so that wasn't very helpful at all. After taking our drink orders, we didn't get any service for 25 minutes and contemplated leaving after that but before we did, another server helped us out. (They were fairly busy at the time around 7pm on a Wednesday). When I went to the bar to get a beer while waiting on our food, the bartender looked at my ID and told me it was fake, (granted I am from out of state and only 21 so I'm guessing they probably thought i was underage). But the bartender made me take my hat off and put my hair up to double check my picture and still thought it was a fake, and told me I don't look anything like my picture, (I got my license 5 YEARS ago and haven't got my pic updated yet so that's why). When we finally got our food it was all just average (I gave 2 stars for the food because my aunt really enjoyed the fried chicken and potato salad.) But other then that, the Margherita pizza and chislic basket we ordered wasn't good at all, not worth the wait at ALL. Even after all that, the bill we got was wrong aswell! Never coming back, DON'T RECCOMEND THIS...
Read moreI went to Blarney's during the Wingapalooza to try their wings. The wings that were featured were the 3 level and the Whiskey Wrangler. The 3 Level was a Buffalo-type sauce that had grated parmesan cheese on top. I took a sniff and said to myself, "These might burn my tongue and make me drink all my Mountain Dew very fast!". The sauce on an already crispy, tender hot chicken wing was fantastic, but it left me a tiny bit disappointed since it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. However, the taste itself was exceptional! The Whiskey Wrangler had the same crispy outside and tender inside as the other wings. It was a BBQ sauce of their own making. And when I had my first bite, I could not believe how balanced and delicious it was with the tanginess and smokiness of the sauce. I would love to buy a bottle of that stuff. So to me, the Whiskey Wrangler wings were near perfect while the 3 Level wings were somewhat lacking in the hotness but still packed in some savory flavor. I would recommend Blarney's wings for their crispy, juicy goodness! I still have to try the other restaurants' featured wings on the...
Read moreSo disappointed. We ate here a few months back and the food and service was top notch. Today we were ignored when we went in to pick up our order. Four staff members looked at us and went back to what they were doing. We didn't even get a "be right with you". I had to stare at one before we were finally acknowledged. We spent over $60 and we couldn't eat half the meal. The wings were good, but we ordered a platter of assorted items. What we got on the platter did not match what was listed on the menu, and it was seriously overcooked and soggy. Everything just tasted like grease, and old grease at that. Half of it was so far over-fried that it was inedible. This visit was such a far cry from the last one. By the time we got back to the hotel we did not want to have to go back. Why request new food from the same fryer...
