Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Mitchell

Went on 7/6/25 and the young male server was horrible. We watched him counting his tips at his counter infront of everyone and it was very unprofessional to see as your being sat at your table. The salad bar was really good and I should have had it for my meal but I had beef tips with peppers and onions that were really good. My son ordered a rootbeer and a medium well t-bone that had blood and was more rare than anything and more fat than meat. The waiter refilled my son's root beer twice but my water sat empty the entire time. I had only eaten half of my salad plate and was cutting up my son's steak to see what was actually edible and not fat while hoping for a refill on my water as the waiter walked by repeatedly to help the table behind us but no he gave me the check while still eating and having no water. I had to flag him down to get a refill on my water that had never been refilled but he lingered at the table across from us waiting for me to pay the check when we were not even done eating. Except for my food the whole experience was horrible and he should find a new job definitely not in food service. Getting a box from him was a whole other story. It's sad to see a Ruby Tuesday's that we were excited to go to because they all closed down years ago in Illinois where we are from have such a bad greedy server who doesn't...

I ordered a pick up order online and got the confirmation it would be ready at 650. My daughter arrived and called at 649 to let them know she was there and at 711 she was still waiting. I called to see what was going on and was told they are really busy and transferred me to the bar. The bar person found order sitting there, but wasn't sure how long and I asked to find out because I didn't want food that has been sitting there a while. Then another person gets on the phone and says they are really busy and she should have just came in and got it. I said no she shouldn't have! What is the point of having pick up service if they can't do it. I was then told they have no control over ordering online and again I said what's the point in having it. I then asked for a refund and had to talk to another person who said the same thing and that they could not issue me a refund because they have no control over it and again told me how busy they are. Next I was told to talk to the GM. He got on the phone and offered me a gift card and I said NO I want a refund because the same thing happened quite a while back and I didn't say anything and want a refund. We will see if the refund...

So we came at 10 at night when they close at 11 was only 3 of us and kitchen was already getting there stuff cleaned up and as a cook i know what its like to have tables come in after you got all your stuff clean and getting ready to shut down normally never would have done that to another cook but we were visiting town for a funeral for my uncle who had just passed and we were so hungry cause we had been at the church all day with not much to eat and this was really the only sit down place to eat still open! These guys took such good care of us though the bartender was amazing super friendly and attentive was happy and singing to the music playing the cook nailed our food out of the park it was so good the presentation was perfect the food was cooked absolutely prefect as if i had cooked it myself ive been cooking for 26 years this kid did a very very good job we thank you guys so much for taking such good care of us we never told them either that we were in town for a funeral or anything the just did their job and did it damn well! Thank you guys it was just what we need at the end of the day! Will definitely be back if i ever make it...
