I was unexpectedly impressed with my experience here. Honestly I think the vast majority of Chinese/Asian on the Alabama Gulf Coast is pig slop, so maybe my expectations have been lowered over the years, bit this place reminded me of the good Chinese I had growing up in Birmingham. Although it was all the same basic stuff you'd find anywhere, the quality of both the meats used and the sauces were a step above the local buffets and to go shops. Where most places have some generic brown flavorless sauce with the consistency of cow snot on everything, here the dishes I tried all had specific flavor profiles and the sauces were thick but not gummy. The Shanghai chicken and the General Tso's chicken, while both "fried chicken in spicy sauce" were entirely distinct from one another. Service was good, and I felt like I was being served by family instead of employees. I also really liked the sweet tea. The only letdown was one person in my party wanted a soft drink and was served a glass of ice and a can of Coke - no fountain drinks here! Overall, it's probably the best Chinese food I've had in the area and certainly leagues better than the places where I live in Baldwin County. This will definitely be worth returning to next time I cross the bay to visit Mobile.

Been a while since I’ve been here and I had forgotten how delish this place is. We arrived for lunch and I got the General Tsos and it came with rice and soup of choice - opted for white rice and wonton soup. The soup came out hot and they serve it with a small plate of freshly fried wonton strips, a small spring roll and two Rangoon. My guest got the Sesame chicken, we split a veggie lo-Mein and got an app of crab Rangoon. All of the food was hot temperature, which I appreciate. They serve tea and coke products. They serve you a can and you get one extra can as your free refill. Great prices, service was excellent! HUGE menu and kid options too. A lot of to go orders was being picked up while we were there too.

My wife and I decided on Chinese food before going to the house for the night. After a brief search online, my wife chose Asian Garden as it was close to home and was rated well. We were seated immediately and after a quick browse of the menu I chose the Dim Sum appetizer and Chicken Fried Rice while my wife chose the Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. Everything was delicious and the waitress was attentive without over doing it. This will make our roster of regulars. Recommended. BTW, I was hungry so the only pic I have of the food is of our leftovers which I’m sure will still be delicious at lunch tomorrow.

Any reviewer that says anything positive about the food at this restaurant is a liar or they either work for the restaurant this is the most sorry pitiful excuse for Chinese food I have ever seen in my 50 years the wonton soup is chicken broth but the power of flower is overpowering you could not even taste that onions over the nasty flour of the wonton Noodle the shrimp with lobster sauce was not shrimp with lobster sauce it was shrimp and some sort of flour-based gravy the lobster sauce was big hunks of chicken so they collect shrimp with lobster sauce but it’s really shrimp to shrimp and a whole bunch of chicken with some co noodle the shrimp with lobster sauce was not shrimp with lobster sauce it was shrimp and some sort of flour-based gravy the lobster sauce was big hunks of chicken so they Collett shrimp with lobster sauce but it’s really shrimp two shrimp and a whole bunch of chicken with some sort of white gravy over it completely hideous pepper steak was onions bell pepper two mushrooms two pieces of steak and so he sauce please save your money and go eat somewhere else you could go eat at a homeless shelter and have better food in the house the people that work there maybe Chinese but I think they know nothing about cooking Chinese food I cannot express to you enough my disappointment in my displeasure with the plight of garbage that me and my wife received $40 down the drain thank you Asian...

Don’t go there if you have allergies. I went there with my mom today and she’s allergic to mushrooms. She ordered something on the menu without realizing it had mushrooms in it as it did not state on the menu it had mushrooms. I told the server that my mom was allergic to mushrooms and requested to get it recooked. The server simply told us to “pick them out.” Since it was cooked with the mushrooms in it, there is a dangerous possibility that the mushroom will have been cooked INTO the food. So I again requested it be recooked. So the server took it to the kitchen and came back 2 minutes later with the mushrooms picked out. I stated that they just picked out the mushrooms and they told me they recooked it without mushrooms. In 2 minutes. So I told them to just take it off the order and that we weren’t going to pay for it. Instead of taking it off the menu they came to us and said “well, we’re going to make you pay for the rice and soup that came with it.” Then preceded to rush us out the door. That’s so frustrating as before now I’ve never had this experience. It could have been easily solved had they just recooked it or advertised it with mushrooms so we could ask for no mushrooms. I’m extremely disappointed in the greed that was expressed over a...
