Yuan Mei Asian Noodle Chinese style — Restaurant in Mobile

My son and I went because I FINALLY found sizzling rice soup after years of searching and craving that taste again. The soup was delicious, although the rice was not sizzling as generally served. He ordered sweet and sour wings, I ordered fried dumplings. Both were completely disgusting. We couldn't even eat it. I actually spit out the 1 bite I took because it was so bad. I complained to the manager. Her response was basically "it's not my fault you didn't like it". My son and I both work at sports bars that serve wings. We eat A LOT of wings. These were awful. And the fried dumplings...BLAH!!! The manager didn't offer us anything but to go boxes. (What? Why?) I was given the full bill. Restaurant101...if the guests can't eat because the food is intolerable , offer another choice or TAKE IT OFF THEIR TICKET!!! We literally left FULL plates of food on the table, still hungry, and forced to pay full price anyway. Very, very bad...

Very rude people. The lady who is the "manager" is the rudest of them of all. They didn't season the food and never told us that they didn't season the food. When we went to eat it, the food was disgusting. We called and was told to call back the next day because they were closing. Called back the next day and the rude "manager" answered. When I told her we wanted a refund because we hsd no idea we was buying unseasoned half cooked food she said we wasn't getting a refund. I told her that was not fair because no where on their website did it say they did not season anything. One thing we ordered was salted chicken wings, there was no seasoning at all. I told her restaurants season their food. The manager told me she don't care what other restaurants do and hung the phone up because I asked for a refund. Do not even waste your time ordering here. If I could give -10 stars I would. When we ordered from this Chinese food restaurant we did not expect the type of food that was delivered to us. When we first got our food it’s smelled quite good and to be honest from the looks of it it looked pretty delicious but looks can be very deceiving. Their fried rice is the equivalent Of taking dirty dishwater putting it on top of rice dumping it into an old boot frying it and then putting it into a serving container. This is probably the worst General Tso‘s chicken I have ever had in my life and it leaves a God awful aftertaste I cannot even describe and the textured is like deep fried rubber. I cannot understand how this restaurant has such good reviews it was truly terrible. Will never order from here again. We would ask for a refund but are sure that we would not receive it. Hopefully no one else has...
