I have family down the street from this Sonic and have patronized this establishment for years. I used to come so much, people knew exactly the kind of drink I ordered and would have it ready for me. I guess they have new management or its just not the same customer service. I went through the drive thru on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at approxinately 450 pm CST. The line was long. When I got to the place to make my order, I sat there for at least 3-4 minutes. I thought the speaker was broke so I drove around. When I got to the window, I asked the young man was the speaker working? He nodded. I told him oh I didnt know. I was sitting there for a few minutes and I didnt hear anything. I know they have had problems with their speaker in the past. I told him I didnt place an order and wanted to order at the window. (All I wanted was a drink which they never asked). He said he'd be right back. He came back and told me that "she said we cant take orders at the window. I would have to pull back around and get in line again." I dont know who SHE is. I assume the manager. Again, I was apologetic and said I didnt think it was working. He was adamant that she said I would have to pull back around and get in line again. He said she said they had too many complaints.
Well, here comes another. This is terrible customer service. I was in line for at least TEN minutes. There was no way I was pulling back around in line. I have never had someone tell me that before. I dont think Im better or privileged but there were all kind of options to handle this better. Unfortunately, that one incident has ruined this location for me. I will never go back and I will tell others. The CEO of Sonic needs to know. Some people need better training. It doesnt cost a thing to be nice to people and you will always reap what you sow. You never know who you are serving. Go anywhere but here people! Changes...

As soon as I pulled up at a drive-up booth an employee asked me if I had ordered a certain order. I said no I just pulled up and haven't ordered yet. She said oh we are only doing online orders. I said okay and started to order online on my phone. As I was ordering online, another employee asked if I had ordered a slushie. I said no I didn't. He asked if I had ordered yet and I said no I am doing it online because another worker told me yall were only doing online orders. He said yes I'm sorry mam. I completed my order online and it said it would be ready by 5:17. I pushed the red button as it says online to do when you arrive to tell them my name for the online order. No answer. An employee came out and asked if I had an order for Jessica, and I said no and told them my name. While waiting at my booth, I hear someone at another booth verbally give their order. I then wait at the booth until 5:26, almost 10 minutes after my order was projected to be ready. I then pull around to the drive through window. I wait behind someone who pays cash and is given change, which you can't do with an online order. Then I pull up and the employee asked for my name and says oh I have it and hands me a melted sonic blast and then gives me my drink. I get it if they are only doing online orders, but that should apply to all customers, not just some. It's frustrating that two other people were allowed to make in person orders while I was there, which I would have rather done, but I was told they were only taking online orders. I came by today Sept 20, 2023 just for a simple bag of ice and I get to the stalls and they mentioned that it was broken, walked up to the stalls by the door and they stated it was down as well, I expressed my concerns to a gentleman and asked to speak with the supervisor on duty and asked her can I simply order a bag of ice but instead she stated get in the long line that was wrapped around the building for a bag of ice. I seen other customers that has been waiting for hours to get their food, some customers order within the sonic app and all the other stalls was full of customers. I spoke with Ella May manager on duty she was rude and disrespectful by shutting the door in our face and locking it plus she told one of the employees to not talk to us. She mentioned that the car hop person was on break and she is understaffed. I saw an employee that was coming to work and expressed my concerns because this this was not my first encounter, I visit this location frequently and I was told the stalls was down, slushy machine is broken, and received hard brick food. That young lady came back out and said she was the supervisor on duty.
