Asked girl in drive thru for specials. I ordered 2 cheese burgers and a fry. Then I noticed the double cheese burger. How much is difference I asked because the menu kept changing and I did not see the price so I asked her. The drive thru girl said $2 more in an agitated tone. I was troubling her with my questions. So my current ticket is $7.78 Turns out double cheeseburger it is only 90 cents more I asked the girl to change and she got agitated. And ran to the manager. They were whispering I could not hear what they were saying. The cashier came back and refunded my order. And gave me another tick and charge my card again. I asked about the double charge my concern being charged twice. Cahier said it would refunded. She was agitated again at my question. I said please do not mess with my food. Cahier said what did you say. I said please do not spit in my food The manager came running to the window and started berating me saying I was not nice. The manager would not listen to anything I had to say. So I sat quietly listening to her defend the cahier who did not need defending just price training. I said mamm this conversation is over just refund my money and I will go elsewhere I never once raised my voice. Treat all your guests like Karen's and you will not get much business.. I am not entitled I am dirt poor and just some poor old dude trying to get lunch on his lunch break. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at the BK at 6403 Cottage Hill Rd, Mobile, AL 36609. near Hillcrest Rd. this morning. There was one person taking orders for the driveup. After about 5 minutes, she came to the front counter and I ordered the Crousantwich with everything on it meal. She went back to the driveup and continued to take and fill orders. After another 5 minutes, a black girl came in as if she was coming from the restrooms. He clothes and attire was awful. It looked like she had oil spots all over her pants. There was one other person behind me in line and she took his order. Finally, I asked for my food. She said what did you order and I told her. at this point, I have been standing at the counter for about 15 minutes. She asked the cook if my crousantwich was ready. There were about 20 wrapped crousandwichs on the heating rack. She finally reached in and grabbed one and thru it and some tater tots in a bag. When she handed me the bag, being in a hurry, I grabbed the bag so I could get out of there. She yelled at me, "don't snatch the bag out of my hand!" several times. She was down right rude. I asked for her name. She said it was Courtney she would not reveal her last name. I headed out the door because I didn't have time to eat there because by now I am running late. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I had a great review for this Burger King. I am going to follow this review with a call to corporate and the owner. I went thru the drive thru. What I witnessed: the manager came from the back to put my order in a bag... while 2 employees were standing with her - their arms were folded; they were definitely not going to do anything else but take orders. We wonder why the hourly pay won't be adjusted- we can choose to be servers (even at a fast food) or order takers. My french fries were cold and the sandwich was ok (you can see for yourself). There was one car waiting in front of us although we got our food before them. This particular location has had varied service over the years -it could be the top neighborhood stop if the attitudes of the employees were better. Also the inside of this location needs an upgrade: people tend to do better when equipment works and the environment is clean. I can tell the owners are lazy because instead of taking care of the grounds, they had rocks installed in place of the front lawn. I hope this business gets smart soon because it's not going to be in business too much longer....if it is I won't be going back...
