Was very hopeful due to reviews and restaurant hours. This restaurant seems to be open only 3 hours a day so for me that was a sure indication that the food was so good that they could only keep it for 3 hours, maybe I caught them on an off day. We made it at 1:30 and as per my husband the service was great , i didnt go in. I wanted smoked wings but they were already out so I settled with chicken and the sides of mac n cheese, baked beans, potato salad, and also peach cobbler for dessert. The potato salad had too much celery and mustard for me but that's more of a preference issue. To me the Mac and cheese was pretty decent especially for restaurant quality. The baked beans were mediocre but definitely better than previous restaurants. The cobbler had a good flavor but the crust was thick and mushy. Now my issue was the star of the show which is the chicken. I got absolutely no grilled or smoked flavor from it. It honestly tasted like baked chicken but the worst part was that I'm pretty sure it was old chicken which is UNACCEPTABLE. you can tell by the texture of the skin it's old and it was soooo chewy that it was not edible. Hunni let me tell y'all😍😍 not o ly was i satisfied with my orders, but the customer service was superb. The lady that took my order was not only friendly, but she answered all my questions being it was my first time eating there. She was kind enough to repeat anything, helpful in my selection of food, and babyyy the plates😍😍😍🥰🥰where SPECTACULAR, HOT, FRESH, GOOD, AND SEASONED TO PERFECTION. I had the rib dinner plate w/3 sides(included) and a cornbread muffin. And the ribs where fresh off the smoker and fall off the bone. The collards where seasoned nothing missing, mac and cheese creamy, and baked beans not overly sweet but fantastic. I placed my order at 1:20, and was running late to pickup, but upon her calling to lmk my order was ready, she stayed right there even after closing time of 2pm on tuesday until I arrived. And all my food was HOT, AND CORRECT. NEEDLESS to say I will be returning and telling anyone who reads this...EAT THERE YOU WILL NOT BE...

I was in the area on some business and looking for lunch. I used Yelp and came upon this listing, read the first review and set out. As I was pulling up I was surprised that it was a bit smaller than I expected. I came inside and was immediately greeted by a lovely lady with a hello and a smile. We talked about the options and I decided on the pulled pork and Mac and cheese. She rang me up and I sat down and waited for my food. This place is a bit of a dive, some would say a hole-in-the-wall, so it was right up my alley. The restaurant was clean and had a cool vibe with the tin paneling. The food came out and it was nice and HOT! The bun for the pulled pork was perfectly toasted and lightly buttered. The pulled pork was sauced and had great texture and flavor. The Mac and cheese was tasty as well (I am picky about Mac and cheese and generally am not impressed). I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and got a slab of ribs to take home to...
