Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Mobile

The staff was extremely rude. My family, including 13 month old baby, were passing through the area on our way to the beach after being in the car for the last 3 hours. We stopped to pick up a bite and let the kids use the restroom. My big kids went to use the restroom while I waited in line to order. My teenage daughter said a man quickly knocked furiously at the door and motioned for her to leave. The only sign on the door was, “Bathrooms are for customers only,” and we are paying customers. I asked if I could change the baby in the restroom and another staff member said, “No, this whole area is closed.” I asked if I can just change the baby on the chairs and she said the whole area was closed for “renovation” and “don’t touch the walls because there was wet paint.” Now, I know I’m not a contractor, but I’ve painted a lot of walls in my day and I could tell you that paint was not freshly painted and it actually had scuff marks all over the walls. The woman reluctantly allowed me to change the baby on the chairs while other staff members mumbled under their breath that they would just change their baby in the car. I would have if it wasn’t raining furiously and our car wasn’t packed...

I just left church's on broad Street June 8th 2022 1:30 p.m., a guy staff already act as if he didn't want to be at work but I didn't pay it no mind, placed my order and asked for it to be hot and fresh only to receive my chicken cold old and with dark spots and I know what old chicken looks like, I am very disappointed very unhappy and very unpleased, especially with expecting a child and having cravings, but this was the last straw, I have been going to Church's for some time now and the last few times has been very disappointing, churches is not the same anymore their staff is rude their food is nasty and they just don't have people that are putting their heart and soul into their work anymore, it's becoming a waste of time and money for hard workers like me spending there hard-earned money to receive just anything because the staff doesn't feel like doing their job I'm done with Church's it's time to...

Tonight, 01/16/2025 was THE LAST time being a customer of this Church’s Chicken. This was their 3RD TIME and they have struck out. The chicken tasted just like th appearance of the outside/inside of the restaurant, well as the cook that fried it. I waited almost 15min in my car while they fixed fresh chicken. The chicken was fully greased, undercooked and looked like bad chicken. I ordered 3 pc and not one was done nor fresh. I started eating here in October of 2024 and the chicken was some of the best. The end of November is when I received my first bad batch. It was so bad til I didn’t revisit until December. 2nd bad batch. I tried the chicken sandwiches about 2 weeks ago and they were horrible. You’d rather purchase a McChicken from McDonald ls and be satisfied and yet tonight, 01/16 was the 3rd batch of bad chicken. From the staff to the appeal of this Location, I’d love to see them close...
