The Ice Box Bar — Restaurant in Mobile

Great bar and restaurant (order your food at the window, then order drinks at the bar, server brings your food while you sip your drink). Located in a former ice factory, The Ice Box Bar is a cool space with lots of cool vibes, super local art, good music, and did I mention the food? Everything is done so well.the menu changes frequently, but there’s always a standout burger, bar bites, salads and sandwiches. None of the food is straight off the restaurant supply truck. They care about what they serve. I had a specialty cocktail that had the proceeds going to a local charity. The draft beers are varied and well chosen, lots of variety. If you see catfish on the menu, get it. Wonderful and tender, with a tasty crisp crust. Even though you kind of serve yourself, it’s still a fun, mellow vibe here that is welcoming...

Y'all, this place is a vibeeee!!!! Macy, I think that was her name, she was freaking awesome and the best bartender ever. She had great customer service, she was hilarious, and she was just a mood, she was absolutely great!! The bar has a great atmosphere, great vibes, and great energy. It's a cool bar to just sit and chill or watch a game. They have plenty of tvs, and they have an outside patio where you can sit, smoke, play table tennis, or swing on the chairs. 10/10 definitely recommend. This is now my new favorite bar. Also, when Mardi Gras rolls back around, this is definitely where I will be. The Ice Box Bar is on the Mardi Gras route, so that just adds to how amazing...

It’s a great new spot downtown - the building is an olde ice factory and the renovations and atmosphere are just awesome! The sound system is kicking and there are TV’s everywhere, perfect for hanging out inside or out. There is plenty of free parking right out front - and cool games like bumper pool, a ping pong table and real dartboards.
