Cody Seafood — Restaurant in Mobile

The place was clean. They were friendly enough. You can buy broken snowcrab pieces by the pound for a small discount here. Well, I didn't pick that option. I paid full price for the regular snowcrab clusters. Imagine my surprise when I got home and opened my box that I had what looked like an intact cluster, but it wasn't. These folks had the audacity to place the legs of the cluster in the correct order from the smallest to the largest, but the actual legs were NOT connected to the center! That is shady and unethical! If they were out of full clusters they could've said that and we could've proceeded from there, but they didn't. They charged for one thing and served something else. Classic bait and switch. I will never return here ever again....

Purchased a fish dinner today, 4/13/2021 at 2:15; once I returned to work and attempted to eat the first thing noticed was a smell, I said maybe just a fishy fish. Continued with my meal, first bite a little funny tasting, second bite I identified the taste as not fresh. After a third smaller bite, I realized it wasn’t good and definitely not fresh and for sure unable to eat. Due to distance and time, I wasn’t able to return and attempted to call from 3: pm until now, 6:23. I hadn’t gone to Cody Seafood in awhile, now I remember why. I will continue to try to contact the owner and report to the health...

Their crab leg plates are delicious!! It comes with 1 crab leg cluster, sausage, like 4 decent size potatoes and 2 corn on the cob and 1 butter. We got 2 plates but added another crab leg cluster and 2 extra butters. Paid $53 for both plates and it was worth every penny! If you add another cluster how much you pay depends on the weight of the cluster. Our plates was like $13 and some change each and the 2 extra clusters together was like $18. All in all I would say the food was definitely worth the price we paid! Definitely will be going...
