Visited in the morning at 1115am and the energy in the store was upbeat, positive and welcoming. There was one person in line and I was served immediately. I ordered 2 Kahuna Phillies and a Club Sub sans mayo. The Club Sub was recommended and I was told it was a delicious sub. I enjoyed every bite of my Kahuna Philly Large, the bread was soft, airy and so so fresh, juicy all whilst not being soggy even after the 10 minute commute to it's final destination . I accompanied all subs with chips (Ms. Vicky's Jalapeño Chips, spicy if you're a little **, Salt and Vinegar and a Sun Chip) because texture is necessary, right! I was quite impressed with the sub a matter of fact. The flavors all worked so well together, it was not salty either as most Philly Cheesteaks get, the melt in the cheese and cook on the meat was very well executed. Props to the cooks, wonderful job gents. The flavors in the Philly were spicy, meaty, cheesy and earthy from the fresh wheat bread, the tangyness from the pickled jalapeños cut the richness from the cheese and meat, the sweetness from the red bell peppers and sautéed onions complemented the spicy very well. It's a well thought out sandwich and the portion of the meat and just the whole sub was gratifying at the price point. I was initially awed by the price and after eating the sub, I was left feeling I got value!
This sub puts Fire-House and Subway to shame in my book! The bread is quite impressive! I will definitely be returning in a week to have another sub after a high...
Read moreMaybe it’s me. Food here is never consistent. My main problem is the bread. I don’t know many people who go to a sandwich shop for hard bread but here we are. Today was one for the books. Came in, was the only customer. Asked for two cold as in not toasted or hot sandwiches. When they finished the first one and began cutting it, I noticed how hard it was for them to slice through the bread. It sounded like toast. I asked if the bread was hard and the young lady who cut it said ‘kinda’. So the other person cut a giant sized loaf to accommodate my regular sandwich and put it on top to replace the top bread. I asked them if they were going to replace the bottom, I was told that it wasn’t hard. They then asked me if I would like it replaced too. I said yes. For my second sandwich, instead of using the other half of the what we believe to be fresh soft bread. They pulled out a pre cut loaf. This was to be my sandwich. I was too tired to argue or stop them. Especially since they know I was not into hard bread. But when I got home, it was not very soft. And the other sandwich bread was chewy.
I have been a customer of jersey mike’s for years and across state lines. Super disappointing and I won’t be back to this location. They seemed mad that I didn’t want to pay $30 for two sandwiches with hard bread. They need to do better. I even tipped which I...
Read moreThe me and myfamily has been several times to this location and the sandwiches are always good. Today we were starving and to busy to get out of the house so we ordered for delivery. Clicked on the sandwiches picked bread and size and placed order wanting it mikes way and the only other options was extra meat or extra toppings. Sandwiches show up only meat and cheese. I try calling 10 times back to back absolutely no answer. Quite aggravated I drive to the location after paying for delivery. Explained the problem and asked for the sandwiches to be dressed. I assume the young man was the manager and was more interested in telling me that I specified no toppings and they had nothing to do with it. I say whatever just fix the sandwiches. He continues to explain how to place the order and I tell him thats exactly what I did. He had 0 care that I had to drive up there, 0 care that the site may have messed up or any kind of care that it just wasn't what we wanted. He only cared about telling me how I did it wrong and again I did not. He then literally throws the toppings on hands them to me and says have a great day. I don't ever ask for anything like free stuff and despise people that demand it but maybe this time I should've. I...
