Clerks were patient with us being slow in figuring out what we wanted. They were out of handheld menus, needed bc the menu board is unusually high, DIL needed to sit bc her back hurt, holding her sleeping baby and pregnant + lots of ingredients to check. Was charged $9.09+ for $7 combo. When I pointed it out, clerk wasn't really remorseful; did say he forgot to enter code. Got someone else who refunded diff, but he wasn't personable either. Flatbread (taco style) was generous w chicken! Sauce was extremely salty, and all over top, so inside bottom was DRY. One person in my party, over $10 for ham/Swiss and smoothie. They did it as a Club and nixed six ingredients. Felt they should have gotten creative with pricing or loaded with the one meat. Ham was bit skimpy, doesn't compete w other shops. Smoothies were out about five min after sandwiches, and delicious. Other person's order was over $10--wrap, chips and smoothie. They were running a special for $1.99 smoothie w any wrap, but bc of the way the receipts read, you can't tell what price is attributed to each item. They just tally per person. $31+ for three ppl, which is in w today's $10/person mentality (esp if you're not paying). Much of their business is drive-through, so it keeps them hopping. Morale seems a bit low. Unfriendliness maybe bc they're drive-thru oriented, not people-oriented. (The only other time I ate inside here, the clerk rudely reminded us of closing time.) Read moreVisited this cafe at approximately 6:35 p.m., 04/24/21 (Saturday). Only 2 employees were visible in the cafe. No eye contact from the lady in the food area. The other employee, male, was wearing a headset and appeared to be taking orders for the drive through. I had been standing a few feet back to study the menu a bit. He never greeting myself or anyone else who walked in behind me. When I approached the counter where he was punching in orders, I told him I'm ready to order. Still, he was stone cold silent, no change in expression, no verbal cue or appreciation for his customers. Review is for the Franchise owner: You were short of help when I visited your establishment, the drive through is always lined up, as you know, and your employees looked very tired, at best. I feel it is demoralizing to employees when they have to "run the show" when there's not enough of them to do it efficiently/smoothly. I ordered it delivery this time, but I feel it’s safe to assume the same crew that’s working tonight is the one that was working the other night. The last time I ordered here, I had placed an in store pickup order through the app. I tried to go inside, but the door was locked. I tried getting someone’s attention by knocking and holding my phone with the order confirmation up to the door.
