Pour Baby — Restaurant in Mobile

I called on a Thursday to make a reservation for the upcoming Saturday for approximately 6-8 people. I was told that the only time they had available was 9pm because they were expecting a few large parties that evening. I still accepted the 9pm time because my friends and I were excited to try them out and it was my Birthday celebration. Fast forward to Saturday, about half of my party arrived around 8:30 just to lounge and have a few drinks before we were seated and there was no issues with them seating us near the bar. Around 9:10, I asked the waiter when our table would be ready and he informed us that they were pushing the tables together at the moment. 5-10 min later we were seated and I immediately asked our waitress Kristin, who was very pleasant, to bring 3 orders of wings for the table to start. I’m glad that I did this since they were the last of the wings, as in they didn’t have anymore to cook! They were out of just about half of the menu, which was a bummer because we didn’t get the experience we were hoping for. I will say that the food we did get was pretty good, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was pretty pleasant for the most part (there was one gentleman with a beard who I felt could have been a bit more pleasant/welcoming but maybe he just had long day). I would go back but not on a weekend when they’re expecting large parties since they didn’t appear to be prepared to handle the amount of food orders although they knew they were expecting large parties this...

Pour Baby is hands down one of the most phenomenal dining experiences in Mobile — and honestly, anywhere. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of stylish and welcoming. The service? Absolutely top-notch — attentive without being overbearing, genuinely kind, and you can feel the passion for what they do in every interaction.

The food is on another level. Each dish is crafted with creativity and care — from starters that set the tone, to entrées that truly blow your mind, to desserts that leave you speechless. Every bite was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and honestly unforgettable. Add to that a wine selection and cocktail list that are on point in every sense — curated, thoughtful, and full of incredible options to fit any mood or pairing.

And just when you think the experience has peaked, the desserts arrive and take things into the stratosphere. Rich, decadent, perfectly balanced — the kind of sweet ending you wish you could hit “repeat” on.

I have been going here for several years now, and I have never had a disappointing experience.

The atmosphere is always fun and lively without being overly loud. This restaurant attracts a more mature crowd which is something I prefer (25yo+).

The staff is always very knowledgeable about the food menu as well as the drink menu. They’ve never pointed me in the direction of an item I didn’t end up loving.

The wine list is exceptional, for they have picked some of the best for you to try in 1oz, 3oz or 5oz glasses. I like that they have the option to do different sizes because it allows you to taste more for less money than other restaurants.

They have a wonderful menu of small plates, entrees, and desserts. Nothing on their menu is bad - ever!

The cheese and meat selection for the charcuterie boards are also out of this world. Some of my personal favs pictured here are the following: cheeses are Mt. Tam, Red Dragon, and Campo de Montalbán and the meats are the chorizo and peppercorn salami. Their boards always feature a different marmalade along with fruits, pickled veggies, nuts and crostinis/crackers.

All in all, they’re the best wine bar in Mobile, AL - better than Red or White and...
