Great food, can't always say the same about the employees. They have everyone pulled into parking spaces for no apparent reason than to take your money and make you wait. When done right, the best you can buy. But the employees don't really care about the customers for the most part. Incredibly slow wait times. The other night was backed up to Government Blvd. The has never recognized the problem over many years. All she has to do is parking out in the parking and watch the circus as her employees constantly tear her business down. 01/15/22 Waited 1:06 between entering the line to the window. They claimed that five people were working. They lose between 30 to 40% of customers. Management/owners don't to care. It has been on for years now. Really hard to understand from a customer viewpoint. I worked at Mcdonalds at Government and Ann street and during Mardi Grasand we would do over 1,000 orders per day. This place couldn't compete in any manner. Sad to see such a good product and poor staff. They just don't care. Somebody from What a burger home office should be on a plane and observe the madness of this location. In the time I was here they may have processed 20 orders. One third were drive offs. Somebody needs to make major changes and pull the franchise license and make changes immediately. They are losing money hand over fist it would seem, but nobody cares.
03/22 ordered burger and fries. The fries were greasy and icebox cold. The whole staff should be replaced. Starting from the top down. The corporation must be lacking in management skills and just don't care. This is judged from their lack of caring for the financials to food safety.
01/02/23 Well, Whataburger has raised the prices again! And whomever the cook is for the night shift should be fired. Grill scum on the patties and buns from not cleaning the grills. Then on top of that the patties are burnt. To start your experience, you are made to wait 15 or 20 to place the order. This dont count the 5 to 15 minutes you waited to even to make it the speaker. They should start by firing all managers, then employees and close the...
Read moreI eat here often because it’s close to me and the location is so convenient. Even with traffic it’s very easy to get in and out of, and you can’t miss the giant orange sign if you’re new to the area and trying to find it. And it’s 24-hours, even post COVID! You just don’t see that much anymore. The food is always good. The service is always fast and friendly. Between me, my husband, and our six kids, I think we’ve tried everything on the menu, and it’s all good. I recommend the honey butter chicken biscuit, the avocado bacon burger, and the patty melt personally. You’ll never go wrong with any of those. The best seasonal items are the Buffalo chicken sandwich, the Dr. Pepper shake, and the chili cheeseburger. If you see those advertised, don’t forget to order them before they disappear. Honestly, they should go on the regular menu and not be seasonal, but I’m sure that’s a corporate decision this store has no control over, so I’m not complaining.
The tall gentleman who works night shift drive thru was very helpful to me tonight with an issue that was entirely my fault (I literally forgot to place my order before I left home lol. He politely informed me after checking and double checking that the store did not receive my order and asked if maybe I’d had it sent to the wrong location. I checked my app and my bank card, and it turned out I was in such a hurry to get my honey butter chicken biscuit that I’d forgotten to click submit. I asked if I could still redeem my offer from the app I’d wanted to use, and he told me of course I could and had his scanner ready without me even having to ask or hold out my phone, and that saved me $8) and I didn’t have to wait very long at all. Everyone there works very hard judging by what I’ve seen when I’ve walked inside, but this gentleman in particular truly understands good customer service and is an asset...
Read moreOn April 3 i went to this location. I waited over 15 mins before i was greeted or assisted. Alfred was very kind and apologized about my complaint for waiting. The dining area was filled eith customers who had not been greeted or assisted. I complained 10 mins later because the only customers getting assistance were drive thru. I asked for a manager. I had some of my order refunded because of the service. The manager Ms Lynn was called upon several times. Finally after waiting 25 to 30 mins for 2 honey chiken biscuits with no honey and no condiments. Ms Lynn did not seemed to be concerned about any of the customers. She enslaved Alfred to work both the drive thru and front line with no assistance. Alfred was so kind he just kept apologizing. I had visited this location a few days prior and Ms. Lynn allowed a tall slender female walking from the greyhound station with a golden poodle in the store. The poodle was not a service animal and partially jumped on the counter as well as the soda machine and ice area of the restaurant which is clearly unsanitary. This location has tge worst service in the area. The previous manager was more thorough clran and the...
