On September 15th 2024 I went to this location to talk to the manager about the treatment I received from another location 6551 airport boulevard. On September 14th at 4:30 p.m. 6551 airport boulevard I purchased $48.32 worth of food. The 20 piece traditional wings did not have any wimpy sauce on them, completely plain. I called the manager at the airport boulevard location that evening and she said bring back the food and I said well I live across town cannot do so tonight. She said bring it back the next day so that is what I did. Without my knowledge my wife had eaten some of the wings and the manager said she cannot do anything for me because some of the wings had been eaten. I told her I doubt she would be able to resell the wings even if they were not eaten. She told me she could not help me at all because some of the food was eaten. So I did not argue with her I just left and said thank you. I explained this to the manager at this location on schillinger road. He was understanding and apologized on behalf of Zaxby's. I told him me and my wife eat at Zaxby's 2 to 3 times a month. He looked at the ticket and saw everything that I had purchased and made me everything that was on the ticket and offered me a drink while I waited. He went beyond the call of duty to help me and apologized for the inconsiderate treatment at the other location 6551 airport boulevard. This location on Schillinger road has a Caring Manager that will Help you with any type of problem with your order. I'm I am waiting on a phone call from the district manager about the situation. I am eager to talk with him or her about Zaxby's policies and why their managers are so different on how they treat customers. Today is September 22nd I am surprised that the district manager has not called me yet. I also want to inform him a coworker told me that he and his family had a problem also at the 6551 airport boulevard location dining in. Read moreToday for lunch, I visited my local Zaxby's. It was VERT disappointing. I knew the regular manager was not in. First of all, there was NO energy when we entered the buildung. I ordered my food and stood to wait for it. I waited and I waited. I noticed several bage accumulating o. The counter. I thought surely one of those couldnt be mine. But when one of the associates started checking the tickets and callings names, the first she called was my sister's. Then mine. I accepted both bags of food and proceeded to our table. Upon opening my food, it just didn't look appetizing. Naturally, I go to the fries first. They were hard, not even warm. I was immediately done after having paid $17 for my lunch. I take the fries back to the counter. An associate tells the kitchen staff that I wanted the fries replaces. And I'm told it would be 4 minutes. My reaping was I've waited more than 4 minutes for those fries and they weren't hot. So I go back to t table and wait more. I aye my chicken and waited. I drank of my tea and I waited. So I finished my food ND still no fries. By now it's Been at lest 20 minutes. So I'm over it. I want a refund. When I get to the counter, the kitchen staff is pumping food out. But my fries were not in site. The kitchen staff ses me at the counter. It was obvious she had prepared the fries and had them just sitting. So the lady just grabs the box and sits it in the window of the counter like I'm supposed th accept it and eat it. 4 minute fries 20 minutes later???? I don't think so. I said no ma'am. Read moreSo my husband ordered a 10 piece wing combo. When we got home there was a baby roach on their celery. I called to speak with the store manager Debra, and told her what we found. She said to bring the food and the receipt to the store, but kept saying on the phone "they don't have bugs." When I got to the store to simply get a refund on the wing combo, Debra the manager said it wasn't a big it was "seasoning". She claimed they check every veggie and food they have and had never had a bug problem before. I told her their is a first time for everything and that it was a bug and I know what seasoning looks like. She refused to give me a $11 refund for something that made my husband sick. Managers act like the money is coming out of their pockets. If a customer is unsatisfied, you suppose to do what you suppose to do to make it right. I'm not really complaining that I didn't get my money back, but I am complaining on how poor management training she had.
