Ohana Poke Mobile — Restaurant in Mobile

If you're in the mobile area, look no further. This Hawaiian-Asian inspired restaurant is in the heart of the city next to the Jeep dealership on Schillinger road. The food was amazing, customer service was top notch and best of all this place is a very safe, social distance-friendly spot. The decor is modern and so fitting for a family business. So, if ya wanna take a pic for the gram.. this is the place! My boyfriend and I visited while we were in town and I am so happy we did. We ordered the customizable poke bowl (all ingredients were super fresh which is very important to me when it comes to raw fish), the lava wings, avocado fries + Cajun seasoning (AVOCADO LOVERS MUST TRY). The drinks are organic and super refreshing. Have I mentioned that they have dole whip? Like.. the kind they have at Disney but without the long lines and Florida humidity. We got the pineapple and it was soooo good and refreshing! If you haven't been here, please do. You won't regret it! And if you are a good friend, tell all your friends and family! First time here but not my first poke. Went here as a treat for my daughter and was not disappointed. Their selection and ingredients are on point. Their sauces are amazing, and I have never had a poke so big i could make two meals out of it.... was a little pricey but totally worth it. They were extremely polite and courteous, and the service was excellent and fast. When my daughter and I got done stuffing ourselves and put away the leftovers for tomorrow night, our only reflection was that there wasn't quite enough sauce. I should have asked for more to go but I kind of feel like too many people have complained about them putting too much sauce and not understanding this is poke and not traditional sushi. When i asked for more sauce and Wasabi she seemed pleasantly surprised. I really hope that if you read this you go expecting something new if you've never had poke and don't expect to have sushi in a bowl because that's not what poke is. These folks know poke... let them do it right and stop complaining about things you...

The cuisine served at the establishment is undoubtedly delectable; however, I regret to report an unsatisfactory encounter with one of its personnel. Upon entering the premises, I received no acknowledgement or welcoming greeting, which resulted in an awkward moment of uncertainty on my part as a first-time patron. The attendant in question proceeded to point at sheets of paper, providing no further instruction or guidance, leaving me to navigate the ordering process alone. Despite my best efforts, when attempting to submit my completed order form, the employee dismissively informed me that he was occupied and would have to wait for service. I was dismayed to witness this same employee later extend a cordial welcome and take the orders of two subsequent customers without requiring the use of a paper form. While I plan to visit the establishment again, I do hope for a more amicable and hospitable encounter with the next employee with...
