Los Portalitos — Restaurant in Modesto

The quality took me back 10+ years. I have not tasted this legitimate quality of burrito and tacos in over a decade. Between the Bay Area, the Southern part of the Central Valley to the Modesto area. It's been over 10 years, and the best Burrito still REMAINS on 8th Street!

The burrito flavor sent chills down my spine, anchoring me to past memories to when quality was worth your money. Customer service I received was also top tier with positive, helpful, and cheerful attitude.

Stopped by in the morning which typically has some homeless strolling around which was typical years ago and apparently seems to have not changed. I'll have to return at night to see if the vibe is still there.

Really enjoyed coming back to this taco truck. Prices are definitely reasonable and when accompanied with my favorite part, coming here is non-negotiable for my family moving forward, even if it takes us driving...

This taco truck is THE BEST! Hands down, nothing else compares. Excellent tacos, excellent burritos, just wow! They toast the outside of the burrito and that increases the flavor exponentially. Also very affordable. Burritos $10, and tacos $2.

But sheeeesh, easily the best taco truck with the best mexican food in Modesto.

Don’t let the appearance of the truck fool you, the more average the truck, the better the food. Los Portallitos is so good!

Generally, If a taco truck looks all colorful and flashy, that taco truck is trying to make up for the lack favor in the food.

Let me just say..... I have been visiting this truck for more than 10 years and I have never had a bad experience until tonight. I was over charged for items and did not receive hot sauce I requested. I was overcharged $1.50 but because I had a $20 in my hand I was charged $20. My food was cold and the asada was tough. I have never had bad quality from this truck ever. I am so dissatisfied! I hope the owners see...
