Saigon Sandwiches — Restaurant in Modesto

After eating one of their Saigon Sandwiches, I got intestinal issues. I went back and confronted the owners of the problem.

As I was waiting for customers in front of me to finish, I realized that the preparer/owner was still NOT using gloves to make the sandwiches. This has happened numerous times and I've given ample warnings to them about wearing gloves.

When I confronted the owners about basic hand sanitary issues and my intestinal issues, the female sandwich store owner berated me and cussed me out of their store! I've never went back to the sandwich store.

Now, I hear he uses one glove on one hand and the other hand is bare. He still does the same thing with his sandwiches. Never changing gloves, unless the one he has on...

A sandwich shop is not a restaurant. Let me start with that. Great food!! I have been working close by and have been here about 6 or 7 times and the sandwiches never disappoint. Pork bun, smoothy and spring roll are great (Not making fun,that's how they say it)! The lady everyone is talking about co-owns the business and the older gentleman (which I think is her husband) makes the sandwiches and other things. Yes, she may get feisty sometimes but she also can be really nice too. Which seems to happen more often than not. Y'alls expectations are really high for a sandwich shop.
